This is just what bleeding heart leftists tell themselves to ease their howling insecurity.
Nothing wrong with empathy, it's not the "empathy" of the left we oppose, its their dishonesty, their support for outright falsehoods in the name of "equality" and "tolerance", and their self righteous, self deceptive rationalizations they employ along the way. These are not "advanced" beings, they're people that believe what they are told to, and in turn police others to make sure that they believe the same things. They then attack and shame anyone who disagrees while drawing attention to how "empathetic" they are and therefore how correct they are.
The reality is that the "empathy" of the left is entirely selective. Sure, if you're brown or black, they'll at least affect some empathy. But what if you're one of the 100 white women raped by black men every day in the USA? Bring that issue up, and you'll be met only "hurr durr they're raping our women!" sarcastic mockery.
What if you are one of the TENS OF THOUSANDS of white girls raped by Muslim gangs in the UK? Does the left have empathy for these people?
"Cucks" are just people with an inverted group preference. They prioritize the out-group over the in-group, and then call that empathy.
I'll tell you, making excuses for thugs like Trayvon and Mike Brown, ignoring the crimes of Muslims and immigrations all over Europe, while focusing all your attention on the extremely rare (by comparison) cases of white on non-white violence, is not a very sincere form of empathy, and is obviously made in bad faith.
You are likely one of these people. You can tell yourself that you're some advanced person but at the end of the day, you're going to slowly decline in a world in which your own race is increasingly hated, subjugated, brutalized, and made demographically irrelevant by other more ethno-centric groups.
What then will remain of your "empathy"?
