Eh, I think the press can say whatever they want. It's our job to make up our mind about how truthful they are. Media sources that are willing to lie can more easy to spot when they're left to their own devices.
I've noticed that, as a result of this election, people on the Trump side have been trained to spot bs news sources fairly well. We've simply been lied to enough times that we're far more likely to triple-check our sources, and question journalist's intentions.
Contrasted to Hillary supporters, who are fairly easy to spread misinformation to, due to being spoon fed self-congratulatory MSM narrative the whole election season.
