Basically, the current Director of the School of Social Work was passive-aggressively rude to a black, female, junior professor of some kind during a faculty meeting. The Black Liberation Collective was present and they are making it into a racism/sexism issue.
They are accusing him of "misogynoir," which I assume to be a portmanteau of misogyny and noir. Noir being the French word for black.
It's a fucking joke.
They wrote out a big, "open" letter that is even more ridiculous. I can't leak the letter because very few people were supposed to have been given it and it will burn the source.
