In order to understand the esoteric implications of this meme, we must delve into the more poetic meanings of the words "Feed" and "Seed" and how they correlate with words that were implied to once stand in their place, which will be referred to as "Fuck" and "Suck".

It is a dastardly theory that I propose, and one that may defy convention. I would not be surprised if I were to face humiliation and severe legal consequences for what I am about to say. But, one must always remain true to oneself, and one must allow for one's voice to be voiced, regardless of whether or not it is heard. And so, I propose the following: Chuck and Sneed are actually the same person, and there was never any change in ownership in the first place. As I'm sure you are aware, dear reader, "to fuck" means to engage in sexual intercourse. Similarly, "to seed" can be construed as "to impregnate", and impregnation, naturally, requires sexual intercourse under usual circumstances. "Seed" and "Fuck", in this case, mean the exact same thing. Similarly, "to feed" can be defined as "to give nourishment to", and in particular can have oral connotations, as well as colloquial sexual meanings. "To suck", in this case, is not meant to be taken literally- it is a colloquialism for performing fellatio on male genitalia. Again, we see extreme congruency between the colloquial meanings of "to feed" (in this case, the nourishment that is being provided is implied to be semen) and "to suck".
Hopefully I have adequately demonstrated, dear reader, that both Sneed's Feed and Seed and Chuck's Fuck and Suck have the exact same meaning, and that no change in functionality of the establishment in question has ever occurred. Perhaps it is a metaphor for how despite apparent change, conservation of energy demands that the universe remain constant and finite in its composition, doomed forever to repeat the same patterns of old in a cold, uncaring danse macabre. Or perhaps a more concrete explanation can be had. Chuck/Sneed could be a modern Jekyll and Hyde, perhaps even alters of a single entity named "Snuck" or "Cheed". One can only ever speculate, however, there is one certainty: nothing is ever as it seems in Sneed's Feed and Seed.

I took leave of my father's decrepit farmhouse in my modest Guatemalan automobile, making reasonable pace across a landscape bereft of anything resembling what I had come to know as modernity. I eventually reached the general store, a flimsy wooden structure that emitted a dark cloud of smoke from a narrow chimney. Two locals sat outside in the midday sun, accomplishing nothing and seemingly content in their doing so. Their bestial stupidity, likely the result of generations of inbreeding and race-mixing, was apparent in both their appearance and vocabulary.
My eyes were immediately drawn towards the words emblazoned above the door. These words perplexed me in such a manner that defy ordinary description. I shall not repeat them here, for I fear that anyone who stumbles upon this tome will meet the same fate as I should they read them.
I have not slept in weeks, as I have tried in increasing desperation to decipher the true meaning of that inscription. I fear that it is pointless. The fate of this city slicker is sealed.
