So this is the peak of the MCU right?

So this is the peak of the MCU right?

It has the best balance of tones in the MCU. Its at the appropriate level of quips and humor.

Not going to lie. I watched it 7 times in the theater.

Why is it so hard to get actors together in one place to take these poster pictures?

it's not even the peak of the Cap trilogy, it's the most overrated movie in the MCU. People act like it's the best because they act like it's a "political thriller" and not a superhero movie. They think it gives them cinephile points or something.

It's an good movie, but doesn't touch the greatness of Avengers, Guardians of the Galaxy, Civil War, or Iron Man. I'd say it's barely better than Cap 1.

Yeah, I doubt they'll top it. It's one of the very few MCU movies that's actually rewatchable, mainly because it doesn't rely on quips and comedy to tell the story.

Pretty much. Later on something scared Feigi into clinging onto action-comedy formula like his life depends on it.

>greatness of Avengers, Guardians of the Galaxy, Civil War
Kek, this guy.

The only good Marvel movies are Iron Man 1, Cap 1 and Winter Soldier. The rest is just forced quipshit.

The only MCU film I think is better is Iron Man 1 but that has to do with some outside factors

I'm assuming you haven't watched Avegners since you saw it in theaters, also
>Memers of the Galaxy
Yeah, opinion discarded

There's only one way to settle this.
DANCE OFF BRO

>Wasting $80+ on a movie
It was good, but wtf?

Will they EVER make another movie that's not shitty action-comedy that has jokes every 5 seconds?

I swear, this movie got me excited that the MCU might actually start having some tone diversity, but since then it's only been action-comedy after action-comedy. I don't expect them to go grimdark or some shit, but at least some movies that have the tone of TWS would be nice from time to time.

I am so tired of this meme

I'm hoping Black Panther is similar in tone, but Black Panther was originally a 4 hour cut, and after Age of Ultron and Kingsman 2, we know what cut down longer movies look like.

>most overrated movie in the MCU
>not Guardians of the Memexy
To this day I still don't understand what people find so great about that unfunny shit. Vol. 2 almost had me walk out of the theater.

Absolutely no middle ground huh?

At least fox is still trying. That new mutants trailer looked weird, but interesting.

...

pretty much
Civil War was meh

>Will they EVER make another movie that's not shitty action-comedy that has jokes every 5 seconds?
no because they aren't stupid and don't hate money

>Will they EVER make another movie that's not shitty action-comedy that has jokes every 5 seconds?

Civil War.

ORANGE

SLICES

Wow, this movie sure sounds fun!

"The Winter Soldier" had a bunch of jokes too.

>7 times
Damn

>greatness of Avengers, Guardians of the Galaxy, Civil War
Not a single one of these movies are great

>X-Men: First Class
>shit

Fuck off, it's mutiekino

Thor Ragnarok is going to be fun when you watch it. You'll come out of the theatre high on its colourfulness.

Then as you walk home...you will find you cannot remember any of it.

Civil War is great until they shoehorn Spidey in and turn the airport battle into a quipfest.

The airport scene undermined the serious tone the rest of the movie has.

>The airport scene undermined the serious tone the rest of the movie has.

But that's wrong.

None as tone shattering and juvenile as CW's quips.

>tone shattering
>juvenile

Wrong on both accounts.

Civil war is a joke.

>Then as you walk home...you will find you cannot remember any of it

Still better than the first two.

Thor 1 opening scene is still the best part.

Marvel makes a new higher peak with every movie.

>amerishits getting brutalized by jews
3$ here, burgershit

Yeah it gets worse each new movie

That's the failed Dcue.
MCU is quite the opposite user.

Not bad, not bad at all. I'd bump Hellboy up but this list is acceptable.

More accurately that scene where Cap escapes from the Shield HQ is the peak of the MCU.

Highway fight and Zola exposition were pretty good too.

>unironically enjoying Civil war

ill help you out as someone who studied Cinema at the professional level
>First Avenger
6/10
>Winter Solider
7/10
>Civil War
5/10

What makes the first 2 better than CW?

Because civil war is one of the worst MCU movies.

I prefer both GOTGs, but I'm heavily biased cause they combine all my favorite things. Cosmic Marvel+Troma+Farscape+Star Wars+70s music, with a dash of Greek mythology and the hero's journey to boot. They just feel tailor-made for me.

Cap's movies are pretty great too, though I especially love First Avenger. Joe Johnston is a cool dude.
