Would you vote for the Libertarian Party if the nominee was red-pilled and a true Libertarian?

Would you vote for the Libertarian Party if the nominee was red-pilled and a true Libertarian?

Sure, if Trump wasn't running and they didn't pick literally the two worst Libertarians to be on their ticket.

Yes. I'll vote for anyone whose values align with my own. I have no party allegiance.

>true libertarian
What is this exactly- on major issues? I understand libertarianism can be quite broad. I know I don't like Johnson

I would have voted libertarian if McAfee got the nomination.

For example
>Abolishing welfare and Medicare
>Having open trade with other countries, but not getting involved with their political issues, just business
>Big supporter of Freedom of Speech and Right to Bear Arms
>They hate too much government interference with things like business and health insurance
> Promote legalizing most victimless crimes, mainly misdemeanor's that just wastes tax-payers money on paying for a bunch of criminals for stupid shit
> Immigration is strict and based on the current political environment of said nation immigrants are coming from. (So Syrians wouldn't be allowed in the country right now)

Shit like that.

>A FUCKING PORCUPINE

>The porcupine is used to represent libertarianism because it is a defensive animal that doesn't harm anyone who leaves it alone.

How is that not based?

Also, Johnson is kind of a cuck who is more liberal than he is conservative. Fucker might as well just be a socialistic democrat.

Not with Trump running against Clinton. Every vote counts and you can't have the witch in office.

Another year, perhaps. Ron Paul was clearly the Sup Forums candidate in 2008 and 2012.

It would help if this faggot Johnson would fuck off. Austin Petersen was a real troll that could have pulled some attention even in this race.

As long as they promise not to build or repair any roads then they have my vote

That's a republican

Yeah, that's why I'm voting for Trump. I'm a Libertarian, but to me a good leader would be someone like Vito Corleone. Meaning that, every politician and leader does shady shit and probably has people killed, but it's for the benefit of their community, and will help people, but only if they ask, instead of just giving hand-outs.

Absolutely. They would have to be strong on immigration and borders. Too many libertarians are complete cucks.

I'm not a libertarian but this country is desperate for a legitimate 3rd-party candidate, which could then create a legitimate 3rd party.

I can't fucking stand the smug "durr simple choice why doesn't everyone just vote Gary Johnson" crowd. Fuck each and every one of you.

Similar beliefs. Libertarians are much more environmentally protective and believes in being green, but on issues like LGBT and abortion, we really don't care what the fuck you do or want to do, but don't expect the government to get involved. Same with things like prostitution, to most based libertarians, as long as it's kept in check who is it hurting, just like fucking gambling.

Not instead of Trump but certainly over a cuckservative like Jeb!.

>Republicans
>wanting to abolish medicare and social security
>not getting involved with other countries political issues
>legalizing victimless crimes

Also, most of us lean towards letting the State decide certain things, and keeping things in check, while the Federal Government, just oversees the states to make sure everything is running smoothly.

>abolishing gibs
I'm down but this would cause riots no doubt. I'd just be happy with its expansion being stopped and better oversight so people don't take advantage their whole life.
>immigration is strict
Again I agree but I find most libertarian candidates to be soft on border control. Seems Johnson and McAfee are for open borders, at least more open than our current laws. Petersen wanted an ellis-island style immigration policy. I just want the current laws enforced, really. That'd be nice...

Johnson is an awful pick to rep this party

not this cycle

trump is god-emperor tier

Yeah, he's a democrat in a Lib's skin, but to me as far as government aide goes, it has to be stricter, and people can decide whether or not they want insurance. Also, that theory is based on "charity of others" and donors, like people just helping their community, everybody just chips in what they can for people in need. So, meh flaw.

Also, real Libs are weary of countries that contain multiple threats to national security. Like the refugee thing, it would be way too much of a risk. But with that, one of the biggest goals would be to abolish Minimum Wage, b/c private businesses should decide what's fair, and in the long run, abolishing MW will loosen up the unemployment problem our country is facing.
