Do you think Moore is going to put some sort of curse on Johns for writing Doomsday Clock...

Do you think Moore is going to put some sort of curse on Johns for writing Doomsday Clock, or does he no longer care enough about comics to do something like that?

He's too busy writing bad Lovecraft fanfiction and pedo porn these days to give a shit about Watchmen anymore.

How does cursing someone work if you pretend to believe in magic, anyway? Do you like go out at night, build a campfire, and stab a chicken? Shake a baby rattle and speak in the language of a foreign tribe? Do you just burn some incense and meditate on it? Is an orgy required?

He's too busy writing literature to give a fuck about funnybooks really.
t. brainlet

He doesn't even have to curse him. The comic's gonna be shit enough as it is.

>does he no longer care enough about comics
Didn't he just finish Providence this year? Moore still puts stuff out every now and then, he just dislikes capeshit.

>Implying he would be able to overpower Morrison's counter-curses

To be honest, I doubt he ever cared about Watchmen. Has he ever refused any of the royalties he gets from his work in DC? Im sure he doesnt.

>he just dislikes capeshit.

Eh, Moore liked Hellboy, Madman, and The Maxx. Plus America's Best Comics showed a clear love for the material, especially in Tom Strong or the earlier Supreme at Image.

I think it's to simple to paint Moore has a cranky old man who just hates everything and everyone.

He never cared about anything, he was always in for the money. HE'S A HACK.

>Has he ever refused any of the royalties he gets from his work in DC?
Yes, he has rejected the money from all his movie adaptations.

That would be a waste of a curse. Johns can ruin Doomsday Clock alone

>Moore having enough power for anything anymore

Once he became attached to Stan Lee's drain tether, he lost the ability to conjure anything other than visions of his not-too-distant death.

If he never cared he would've stayed. The contract disputes over Watchmen were just a part of Moore leaving, he actually left when DC was planning on using a rating system for their comics and along with Miller and Chaykin he walked out on the publisher.

He won't do shit over Watchmen, but I'm actually scared he's gonna curse Lemire and Shaner over Tom Strong.

Not the first time any of his ABC work was done without him, they did a Top 10 story

That would depend on what school of magic you ascribe to. Considering that Moore considered his comics to be magic, I'm guessing he doesn't believe a formal ritual is required at all, but may perform one anyway for various reasons, whether to enhance the effect or simply to vent.

Read Promethea and say that again.

Moore doesn't care that Johns uses him as an excuse to make shitty edgy stories like Superboy Prime and Grail

>t. a presumptuous user
what makes user a brainlet for factually stating that he's writing lovecraft fanfics? That's what they are. Quality aside.

Lost Girls isn't really a "these days" thing but certainly not a brainlet mistake. user may be a brainlet, he may not, but I don't think there's anything in his post to say so definitively that he is, in fact, a brainlet.

t. a less presumptuous user than you.

>what makes user a brainlet for factually stating that he's writing lovecraft fanfics?
The part where he said bad. Providence is pretty good all things considered.
