How? It's a blatant cashgrab driven by nostalgia.

Reddit thinks they're too intelligent for stupid fun like this

It's at least as good as Super Mario Bros, possibly a bit better.

you sound like you're trying to sell me something...

Another wannabe like Tomb Raider that will bomb horribly while the REAL movies like Infinity War make billions

I'd agree with you if it wasn't a Steven Spielberg film

Why do international posters make it look better than it seems?

Another dud. Infinity War will be the first major release. Hollywood is nothing but Marvel kiddie movies and cartoons anymore, and 2018 is the year that becomes obvious.

Kinoir

Because the Japanese distributor has better taste

It had nothing to do with the book and at times the story was completely incoherent
Just two hours of being bludgeoned with manufactured nostalgia
Still it’s oddly watchable and action scenes are great

How did I never notice his delorean had the K.I.T. light on the front before?

Can’t wait to watch it when a good copy becomes available

Wait how is this movie reddit, I see no rick and morty or nu-star wars

I got the impression that being nothing like the book would be an improvement. Isn't it essentially a collection of name drop lists?

it will make $1B easily

What I saw of the action scenes looked pretty bad- dark and grit everywhere to cover cheap CGI. To be fair to Marvel and Disney- they pay for good CGI, and it shows in the clean, clear, bright colors and lighting.

Not really but that’s the meme surrounding it. I’d say the book’s story was better and more thought out than the film. But it’s not like the book was standout in the first place so nothing important was lost.

Still tracking as a dud, less than two weeks to release.

That's pretty insufferable. Also,
>that bit of trivia about Midnight Oil
>not dropping the bit where the lead singer became the literal Minister for Education
