Post-Modernist Architecture

What does Sup Forums think of these "American Commieblocks" that are starting to pop up in trendy suburban areas?

...

its fucking shit they have them here now

Haven't seen any. They look like shit and fuck the kind of hipsters that would live in them.

It looks like the water is heating up a little more.

>T. Frog in a pan

They're shit, is there any other possible opinion to have about those?

OH MY GOD THE FUCKING LIBERAL WHOLE FOODS COMMIE BLOCK!

It's poetic.

Ugly and cheaply constructed using plywood

I bet those cheap building materials are gonna look real great in a decade.

>trendy
>suburban
>commieblock
Pick one and only one

...

(((planned communities)))

Apartment living is the only sensible option in urban areas.

That looks like a strange construction for an American suburb though.

Literally every place in Europe has these.
They are good for average people who don't care about and don't really need a big nice home.

>ITT kids talk about things they know nothing about

while I see where you're coming from, its not communist because whole foods isn't state owned nor are those apartments full of poor starving people

They want to morph consumerism with socialism to get people to live in these overpriced commieblocks
>agenda 2030

do you really not know what commieblocks are?

It's a nightmare. There's a new one every week in Sydney and they bring in shit skins to fill them.

Not cheap either. $700k or more just for a modest two bed with a view of a brick wall.

They have these all over Atlanta and Houston.

yes I do, but my point was that besides being square shaped apartment buildings they have nothing in common with the top picture

Are your shitskins rich?

They will become ghettos in 30 years

With housing as expensive as it is right now, it's better that as much as possible is being built rather than a smaller amount of higher-quality buildings.

They look like shit though. I hope that they eventually get replaced with nicer stuff, but only after prices go down.

so will everything. Rich people always need somewhere new to move

I think they're sort of cool...

The prices will never go down goyim. Be a good little goy and downsize. It's convenient and shopping is nearby. You don't even need a car!

my condolences

it's fucking bullshit

They put in a bunch of these over some new businesses in my city. $2500 for a single BR, and like half of them are set aside for niggers and spics. Drove by and saw two hipsters on one balcony and a nigger and spic on the adjacent one.

>like half of them are set aside for niggers and spics
what do you mean, minorities get them for less money?

>increasing supply doesn't decrease price

Home for the future shitskin workers

Your economy is finally catching up with your politics

You'd expect these "micro homes" and hipster-oriented small living spaces to be alot cheaper, but no, they're actually pretty fucking expensive rent-wise. I guess people just want to look trendy and pay high rent to live in a little cuckshed than actually budget and find a small home or apartment for cheaper a bit further away from the city but within commuting distance.
You don't even have to get a big house, just don't insist on living in the middle of a city if you're a student or barista and pay these ridiculous rent prices for shoeboxes.

And denver

It makes me want to die a little on sight desu

This one is in Nebraska

Commieblocks are shit but some of the actual Socialist realism buildings look very nice, like the architecture of Moscow. The Seven buildings.

>I guess people just want to look trendy
you hit the nail on the head. Thats the core of modern liberalism; agree with us or youre not cool

All of them all made of plywood
