Pre Janet Jackson Super Bowl

It was a different time.

She was the best girl.

It was a better time

Childhood is being a Rachel guy, adulthood is being a Monica guy

truth

Does anyone feel bad for Chandler in a way? Yeah, Monica loves him but she'll never respect him the same way she did Richard. Look at the relationship dynamic between the two. When Chandler was with Monica she was the boss and he had basically no say. With Richard, he always comes off as the pants in the relationship. desu I can see why Chandler was so jealous of him.

only for the first 2 seasons

The show is fucking garbage past like season 3
>hey there's this small thing and it blows up into this huge thing because we're spergs but it's okay in the end because we're friends :)

people used to behave like humans back then. i'm 42 btw

Just about all sitcoms centre around people blowing a small thing up or making irrational choices in normal situations.

But then you'd never get epic moments like when Ross couldn't put his leather pants back on

why would you feel bad for someone for being a beta? Richard was an adult man with his shit together so naturally a woman would enjoy being led by such a guy. Chandler was a fucking trainwreck and Monica took him only because she wanted to move forward with her life and he was conveniently there

It doesn't matter because Chandler wanted the one thing Monica really wanted that Richard didn't want.

>why would you feel bad for someone for being a beta?
Because he's a likeable guy.

He's an asshole, as is Ross. Joey is the only likeable guy of the bunch. Actually of all of them, the three women included

>He's an asshole, as is Ross.
Not really.

oh yeah because a guy who gives you sarcastic shit all the time, goes out with your girlfriend and ruins everyones thanksgiving every year by constantly reminding them about his childhood trauma is such a great guy. But he said a funny thing he's such a likeable guy! :^)

Pretty much. All people are flawed in a way but you forgive those flaws because of their other qualities.

Do Ross now

card sharp

When Matt LeBlanc auditioned for the role for Friends he only had $11 dollars to his name. When the cast got their paychecks, the first thing that Courteney Cox bought was a car. Matt LeBlanc bought was a hot dinner

Friends is trash. No show ever did more to bring degeneracy into mainstream normie goyim lives. In the relatively innocent 90's you had introduced:

The breaking down of traditional relationships and marriage: "Hey, I slept with you, and you and you, and here's my new boyfriend... but let's all hang out like a big happy group! That's what cool people do!"

Normalization of gay relationships and gay adoption.

Race mixing.

etc. etc.

This is how the "long march" of leftism works... normalization of something that was then quite radical, that two decades later, looks quaint.

How could an educated man actually think it's not a card shark?

Ross doesn't get god-tier until like season 5 though.

Except it's kinda the opposite with Friends. The marxist influenced youth of today find it offensive and problematic.

which one was the friend?

Joey is objectively the best friend. He's the most selfless, genuinely loves his friends and will sacrifice his own dignity and happiness for
them.

>Willing to look like an idiot to hide Monica and Chandler's relationship
>Sees Ross kissing Charlie, momentarily upset before realizing he's happy for Ross and smiling
>When Kathy says goodbye to Chandler he is reduced to tears and instantly want Chandler out of the box, not even mad, just wants his friend to be happy even if it means being with his former girlfriend
>Can't makeout with Rachel because he truly sees her as just a friend
>Won't rub it in to Phoebe that she stood him up for David because he's hurt that his friend can't be with the only guy she's even been crazy for
>Likes to cuddle with Ross because it makes for the best naps, no homo
