Do young people still watch TV?

Why would they? It's shit

in the US morning TV shows are trying desperately to attract a younger audience. They've given up on males and gone full feminist to try to attract young women. There are endless stories about workplace harassment women's health issues , wine and chocolate.

27 and haven't turned my tv on in about 2 years, I dont know why I have one even.

disgusting fucking roasties

>UK
I bet it's because all the young people forgot to pay their TV licence

fuck no

I only know one person under the age of 40 who still has a tv subscription, and he's a 30something fuddy-duddy who has never owned a cellphone.

Why don't I watch gay jewish propaganda promoting race-mixing and other degeneracy?

gee, I don't know.

holy shit, these look like lizards in human skin

don't have a tv, don't need one

I'm in the 35+ demo and they just switched to all digital cable so I no longer watch TV.

OI PUT THAT COMPUTER IN THE BIN BEFORE SOMEONE GETS HURT

there's an entire internet of free content, why would I pay money for an inferior product

Not a britbong but why would I watch TV when I can watch all the entertainment I want on Jewtube and other streaming sites?

last time I watched regular tv news was in 2007 or so.
>still forced to pay mandatory tv license

33 here and yea, i'm in the same boat.
I haven't had actual cable in probably 7-8 years? I don't miss a single thing.
I visit my brother once in a while and they've always got the tv on, but it always seems like 20 minutes of commercials for every 10 minutes of program.
I often wonder 'was it always like this?'. How can you even watch a fucking show when it keeps cutting out for ads?
And theres so many ads for prescriptions and other drugs, its almost surreal.
>are you depressed? ask your doctor about this drug!
>feeling constipated? try this drug!
>do you put your hand on door handles before opening them sometimes? better get a prescription to this!

>tv license

what? What country?

People who watch reality TV should be shot

Typical Britbong study. It's one thing vs the entire field. Of course the percentages higher.

TV vs streaming, newspapers, social media, news sites, podcasts and god knows what else.

>streaming videos online
>still forced to pay bbc fees or get fined

i have a 32" monitor that has a intel compute stick for the frontroom and before that a projector, mainly used for roms and netflix

i haven't watched live tv since 2012

Sometimes to watch live sports.
Sometimes to watch new shows.

Never to watch something thats already been released with 3 minutes of commercials every 10 minutes

BBC is propaganda and responsible for Jimmy Savile's rampages. If you pay that shit, shame on you.

bongers. But they get full olympic coverage for "free" because they pay for the license.

germanistan, back in the day you paid per TV you own but this could be easily cheated. then it changed to EVERY household (and business) has to pay.
they demand around 23 dollars every month from me.

you literally get taxed for pbs and wish it was mandatory for the uk

Not my kids. I have to explain what cable is when we visit grandma's house.

The only thing I watched on TV for the last 10 years was football

DON'T BE A CULTURAL POLLUTER
BIN THAT COMPUTER

>buy a shitty little antenna from walmart for like $10
>get all the major stations and local news I want for free
I'm surprised the large cable companies haven't tried to outlaw them or some shit by now

Its all old people and middle aged moms

LOOK AT THE COMMERCIALS. That will tell you who they are trying to market to. Also shit show like The View are appealing to those stay at home moms for some reason

>23 dollars every month

My dad has a bunch of VHS tapes from the early to mid 90s. channels like AMC, TNT, (that showed movies often) had WAY LESS commercials than they do now.

The only people who watch TV are poor people, old people, and minorities.

so everyone on Sup Forums

I'm german and you realize you dont have to pay right? its really fucking simple even

I hope this means we can get rid of that TV license. We won't until the majority of people aren't regular TV watchers.

DON'T BE A PLEB GET OFF THE WEB

It's a vague memory but I think a half-hour TV show slot was about 25-28 minutes of content. Now its down to around 20.

In Sweden they have seen that most people don't watch tv, so they're just going to force it on everyone and make it tax funded. Was decided last year I think.

>getting rid of the tv licence
It won't happen, criminal scum. Get one or get done.

>AMC

AMC used to show old movies with no commericals like TCM.

how?

>the 90s
>mtv and vh1 played music
>the history channel showed history stuff
>discovery channel had science content
>tlc had educational programming

Reality TV literally killed television.

Advertising is against the rules

>mfw imagine a fat boomer couple spending every evening in their mansion watching reality tv

I do, national geography wild is pretty neat

Attached: images.jpg (275x183, 12K)

which is crap. that shit gets more ratings every day. Really is pathetic seeing shit like HipHop Atlanta and Little People getting 5 spinoffs in other cities. Reality TV + Social Media was a devastating combination

French here, same thing for us. I wouldn't be surprised if every yuro country runs the same scam. Us French have to pay the license if we own anything that could possibly display a TV channel, ie if you have internet and a screen (your mobile) and refuse to pay you might get a random visit of some asshole in a suit.
Represents millions of € that go into the salary of thousands of people who make shit nobody asks for. It's disgusting. We need a regime change. Every aspect of the government is a failure.

WAAAAHHH MY EYES
Why would you post these

It's the same thing in sweden, so many has dodged the license fee by not having tv but now they're going to tax it directly for every person because according to them we need quality unbiased news (it's not politically neutral at all though)

I never realized this is real life satire. Huh.

I'm sure they're going to have to do this in the UK soon, they're already trying to change it so Netflix counts as watching TV because young people don't. The only thing stopping it from happening sooner is the fact that young people can't afford houses.

Actually you can refuse to pay the license in the UK, which is why you have the comical license brigade trying to scare us when their real tactics is to try to look through windows for unlicensed BBC viewing.
It's bad, but not as bad as countries where you have to pay it even if you don't own a TV. Many such cases.

Yeah Sup Forums is more comfy with its numerous blacked, gay, cunnyposting, "lookatwhatthesjwdidguys!" threads.

serious case of wine face with too much (but needed) makeup to hide their awful skin
