does anyone else think Netflix documentaries are way too long?

Between this, Making a Murderer, Rotten, Bad Money, etc. all of them feel like they would've been better as a much more focused, two hour
long feature length.

I checked out of this one after two episodes because it just moves too slow. I don't need to know every god damn thought in the interviewees heads.

everything is subjective. but if you mean having multiple viewpoints on a subject, that can still be done in a two hour movie. and isn't this entire story sensational itself?

I mean, stuff like the Civil War or Vietnam definitely deserves 10 parts, but this just feels too overlong for what is essentially a tabloid cult story.

What do you think of Ken Burns' documentaries?

Masterpieces. Vietnam War was filled with archival footage unrelated to the stories being narrated and it still all felt like you were living it right there with them. That's fucking magic.

It's excellent. I have a few osho books including the book of secrets and some vintage rajneesh era books.

the earliest films were pretty objective documentaries. the edit wasn't even invented until 1898.
