Tired and or anxious?

It's a tic.

Most people who wear, or have worn glasses have it.

He's acting

I wear glasses for 22 years and I don't have it.
It's kind of charismatic though, in a very weird way.

His eyes were a little dry

IIRC he read somewhere people with high IQs blink more. This was his decision for this.

he is a big blinker

I honestly thought he was one of the orphans
Think about this - violent job, no relationships, no family, strange behaviour

I've never worn glasses a day in my life and I'll have this eye tick every so often. Nothing major, but I can notice it the once or twice a day it'll happen.

You evil man. You have just convinced a lot of people to start blinking more often.

was he blinking at god?

Just a faked tic. He always does it when the character is supposed to be nervous, which honestly really gives it some depth for such a small detail

I'M ACTING

Wait, nvm, thought this thread was about Prisoners
Never noticed the hard blinking on any other film with him apart from that one, to be honest

its a away to give the character a bit of personality, a bit of texture, some kind of quick remembrance to the audience, in a easy way for the actor to display it. and so...he blinks.
why? who gives a shit. but you remembered he blinks.
its lazy, but the whole film is lazy too.

every god damn time

I unironically have done this everyday after watching the movie

rent free

Its implied that Loki was molested as a kid, that's might be why he developed the tic and is so obsessed with solving the case.

hahahaha

that detail raised the review score by a whole point

it tells you everything you need to know about the character

fucking dumbass

this

I wonder what the origin is of his weird last name. Doesnt sound like a typical Ashkenazi name.

Stick to capeshit.

The answer is right there in the image you replied to.

Fun fact: the original skit said "Jews Rule" but for obvious reasons, it had to be altered.
