Maybe you just have shit attention spawn?
When it came out.
The world was full
Full

Bluepill.
Imagine the only thing you could watch was some nonesense bullshit cultural marxist trash.
Then you walk in a theater and see william wallace fucking shit up.
It was as earth shattering as gonewith the wind or wizard of Oz.
t. Someone who wasn't alive when this movie came out.
the bagpipe music is the most kino thing in the movie op
>not realising its worth a watch for Longshanks alone
>how is this piece of shit so popular?
Its a classic story of a tyrant telling other people what to do and them saying nah fuck off. They're always popular.
I think you might be retarded
Nothing matters unless ur free..
>when it was okay to be white
I miss the 90s
>well done history, well done...
HOWEVER
its awesome
start scenes in the happy scottish village, all the revenge and uprising scenes, the irishman, the english army, the war. all awesome scenes done right
I didn't like it that much either. It looks great and all, but the writing and editing struck me as weird.
Same experience here. I watched Hacksaw Ridge in a single sitting at x1 speed and it was great so I downloaded Braveheart's yify rip hoping for some similar kino but it's just so boring. I started it four days and only made it 25 minutes in. It's gonna take me a whole month to finish marathoning it.
>On February 9, 2018, a sequel titled Robert the Bruce was announced. The film will lead directly on from Braveheart and follow the widow Moira, portrayed by Anna Hutchison, and her family (portrayed by Gabriel Bateman and Talitha Bateman), who save Robert the Bruce, with Angus Macfadyen reprising his role from Braveheart.
This post was made by a woman
but there is literally a Robert The Bruce film filming right now with Chris Pine
You need taste to watch it. Try again, but with taste the next time around. It helps.
>bluepill
>not realizing race/gender/class realtions have devolved in the last decade
80s 90s were the most true redpilled human times we have achieved on this planet. now it's all black white male female fear mongering.
>at x1 speed
woah
>t. retard who thinks cultural marxism started in 2011
Holy shit, is Mel attached to this? Would be so fucking kino.
Nah I'm a sucker for "movies women don't understand" and don't mind slow pacing as long as it's well crafted but it's just horribly paced. Just compare the childhood bit to Conan which has a very similar opening but is much more cinematic and powerful with less shots, it gives me chills every time but Braveheart just falls flat. Then there's the dreadful stretch of Mel awkwardly trying to court his waifu until the throat slashing, everything feels so Hollywood clean and dull and despite all the time it takes it develops zero depth, she's just a pretty face with no character. It's specifically there for the dumb roastie audience with no taste. In Hacksaw Ridge the similar romance in the first act works great because there's always the horror of war looming in the background like the mutilated bodies in the pristine white hospital being wheeled out in the middle of their naive flirting, he manages to completely subvert its Hollywoodness, It takes 30 minutes to establish the character's motive for revenge, and feels repetitive because we've already seen him lose his father as a kid. It's poor storytelling. All this shit should have been cut. Look at superior kino like Josey Wales where the character goes on a war path because he loses his family and I feel more empathy, and it takes two minutes of exposition (1 minutes of the house burning, 1 minute of burying the bodies of his wife and child). This shit is almost as overrated as Gladiator.
Youre entitled to your opinion but personally i thought it was a good film
>Then you walk in a theater and see a subhuman committing treason against the government
Fuck off you subversive kike
Adulthood is realizing he was the goodguy.
90s was a lot different than that. I think Bravrheart flew over your head.
It's a guy hacking people with swords, what more do you need?
you just know it'll be fucking kino
this
more like the only competent man in the movie.
it all fur nuting if ye don't huv freedom
Funny how the scots are taking their own freedom now
> realizes his son is a faggot
> marries him off to the child of his enemy
> will have to impregnate his son's wife to create an heir
> kills his son's boyfriend without remorse
how can he not be liked?
he did nothing wrong
>having ADHD
>complaining because other people don’t and can therefore enjoy and appreciate kino
Nice thread
There is nothing treasonous about fighting an invading force. Especially when that invading force is the English Crown, a bunch of tyrannical, incestuous, pedos who eventually created a blasphemous state church, then later knocked them all down and replaced them with state mosques.
Calm down Mac, did you have a full Scottish breakfast today?
why do they fry tasty mars bar?
they ruins it
You are wrong. You are entitled to your opinion but please do not share it with anyone
Seriously, think about the movie.
Longshanks portrayed as the bad guy by
1. Murder through deciet of his parents
2. Granting prima Nocta (proven false historically) but rape as a special kind of evil
3. And throwing a homo sexual out a window.
While the white son is portrayed as an effeminate homosexual and a stronk women has to fix everything.
And the other leader as a first night wife raping butcher who slits womens throats because he didnt get to fuck her on her wedding night.
Not cultural marxism. ..
It was just slightly better than the other shit coming out.
