I'll agree with the first one not being our fault.
But the second one is definitely our fault.

The first one was caused by Austria. We fucked ourselves by telling them we'd help them whatever they do. An hour before the declaration of war our beloved Kaiser set up a letter telling that there is no reason to go to war.

Austria warred with Serbia. Russia protected Serbia. We had to fight Russia. But russia was unfortunately allied with France in case something happens. So we were now forced into a two-front war we didn't even want. We had to avoid this and there was no other choice to stand victorous without the Schlieffen-plan over BeNeLux.

The second one though, as hard as the peace hit us, wasn't necessary and we could've gone into another direction.

By this logic: France promised Russia to help in case war starts. Russia mobilized first (germany last) and at the time, "mobilization means war" was the rule. In addition, Russia knew that should their mobilization be detected by Germany, it will trigger a German first strike (plan of action, which every country had and every country knew said plan vaguely through deduction of every other country).

Yeah that's not what this was about. Poland was deliberately led to the slaughterhouse by Britain and the US. They didn't even tell Poland the "secret" part of the Molotov-Ribbentrop pact, i.e. splitting Poland in two. Would they have known this, it would have forced Poland into negotiations, hence Britain, France and the US did not tell Poland to finally get the war.
