Leaks from the FBI have dried up the past few days amidst allegations that the DOJ has sequestered the different CF investigation teams and with Giuliani loud mouth causing calls for congressional inquiry. With every passing moment it becomes less likely that the public will learn of any substantive progress on the CF investigation. Which leaves us with a 50/50 chance that HRC wins and the case and evidence are sealed for the next century, or Trump wins and pursues. (Assuming no pardon from BO, although personally I would expect a pardon.)
This inaction from the FBI and the NYPD and the other intelligence agencies is cowardice. It is disgraceful that we have Chelsea Manning locked up, effectively being tortured in solitary confinement--being punished for attempting suicide for the second time. People convicted of treason get executed--yet what we're doing to Manning is unquestionably more cruel.
What Manning did took immense courage, and she did it knowing the likely outcome. Same with Snowden. Same with Assange. These are real heroes. It is a disgraceful for anyone to sit on this information when they have the chance to make such a difference to the country.
