The dudes' other movies are quite good, too.

Ha ill never trust you faggots again after falling for the cold skin meme
cold skin was great fish fucking gtfo pleb
Spring is actually good. It generated good reviews all over when it came out. You would know, if you were a horror connoisseur.
Turning into an octopus means it's lovecraftian?
Is that actually it? Was gonna watch this. I want creatures beyond our comprehension.
using strawmans like an idiot makes you an idiot.
I wouldn't say "Lovercraftian" in the giant madness-inducing elder gods sort of thing, really.
It's an interesting romance - horror hybrid with a charming indie vibe, and a couple of clever twists on the genre. Don't expect it to be much more than that and you'll enjoy it.
Not joking this is one of my favorite movies. Not really scary but god damn does the chemistry for the leads work amazing and the lovecraftian elements alongside the setting of Italy work wonders. The directors other movie Resolution is good too but not close to this
Explain?
their next film Endless is getting great reviews
So not lovecraftian in the slightest. Cheers.
Lovercraft did wrote a lot of low key stories where there was an unsettling element being slowly uncovered. It wasn't all Mouth of Madness.
It's good. I've seen it last year.
It's a semi-sequel to Resolution, their first film.
Huh. I honestly don't see it. Tell me.
The movies take place within the same area which is under an ancient cosmic god's influence, it causes the loops etc. The characters from Resolution cameo, and the main characters (the directors) of Endless were in Resolution briefly.
Oh, you meant The Endless. I was really confused for a moment.
Well worth watching especially if you love the Mediterranean. The ending was a bit weak, but that's ok.
Yeah.
The directors were present at the screening of Endless I attended and they spoke about that they'd like to incorporate Spring into this universe as well.
