Honestly, at worst it's bland and on it's best day it can get a few chuckles. The popularity overall popularity here really is because of the waifu factor, and with kids the fart and poop jokes. I can legitmately say I've never felt more neutral about a show before.

TL;DR: Because it's too easy to do if you don't care about sexualizing the show
1 boy + 10 girls makes it easy to play towards a "harem" perspective, meaning you never even have to watch the show to pair up the easily self-insertable Lincoln getting with whatever sister tickles your or your audiences' fancy, especially since they have simple traits you can fetishize.
Then as more and more artist and writers do that, the more it attracts people who are into that, or the more it makes people go for it since that's the content primarily being made, since people are easily impressionable and will defend or love the most popular artists.

Now ignore the incest aspect and go back to them being the only characters people care about.
Very few of the "fans" give a shit about any of the characters outside of the Louds (to be fair, that's primarily what the show's about), which makes shipping hard since no one wants their "waifu" defiled. People like Bobby enough, but you aren't going to see anyone shipping any of the louds, or any of the other girls, with Clyde because then Lincoln (read: whoever is self-inserting as him) is getting "cucked". Any character who ends up as a potential love interest also gets a similar treatment. No one cares about Lincoln's other friends, so they're never getting any attention, which leaves the Louds and each other. Just take Luna and her being bisexual/lesbian/whatever. People have to see it as "tumblr" to pair her up with Sam, but it's fine if Lincoln or one of the other sisters is involved.

None of this is even getting to the fact that people can't seem to see any relationship between fictional characters as anything other than romantic.

Linc gets shipped with practically every character in the show. Incest is the most controversial, and the sisters are the most prominent characters on the show, so they get the most attention.

I think Savino's getting treatment for mental illness just like the creator of Clarence did, but it's not confirmed.
And no, the show and the movie are still going and season 3 comes out next year. He's just getting replaced

I dislike the canadian art style and I hate how despite there being 10 characters, we only focus on 1 main instead of 10 main characters.
It doesn't help that none of them get proper screentime, memorable moments, above 1D personalities. Honestly Disney's Detention! and MLP FIM did a far better job at handling 6-13 characters by giving them equal importance and good chemistry.

Back to the Loud House and what I dislike about it.
