Star Wars is the sibgle most overrated film franchisd in history and was never good

Prove me wrong
I'm serious

he should direct avengers infinity war part 2

Marvel is the biggest enemy of cinema tho. Star Wars, as shitty and manchild-oriented as it is, had its occasional artistic meric. Marvel flicks have literally none.

He didn't "destroy" it, he just BTFO the wikifags and loreautists

Bait: the post

the veneration of star wars is the death of cinema, fuck you george lucas for destroy everything that was good

star wars most overrated franchise?

"No!"

is The Last Jedi inferior to all the prequels? It becomes even worse on a second viewing.

Jedi > Empire > New Hope > Force Awakens > Sith > Phantom > Rogue > Clones > TLJ

>return of the jedi is the best
>TLJ is worse than the prequels

Empire better than Jedi = pleb opinion

ANH is the best of the OT

He's right about RotJ and TLJ, everything in the middle is wrong though.

RotJ> NH > ESB > Sith > R1 > TPM > TFA > AotC > TLJ

Do people really prefer Phantom Menace to Clones?
Sure Clones was a shitfest but at least it was a mildly entertaining shitfest.
I know 'nothing happened' is a meme criticism but literally not a single thing happened in TPM. They just hopped between planets doing filler shit and then ended up back where they started, had a fight scene and the movie ends.

I'd call it
ANH > Empire > Jedi > Sith > TFA > Clones > TPM > TLJ

TPM actually presented fresh, new ideas to the SW universe (albeit, they were new ideas done poorly). AotC is just more of the same. Swap clones for stormtroopers and it comes off as a bad fan film.

I think it's a toss up. Phantom has the better set pieces, and arguably is visually often beautiful.

Clones has that clunky romance subplot.

It's certainly not clear cut that TLJ is better than any of the prequels.

Even Rogue is... meh. Rogue made a lot of safe steps, leaned heavily on the existing lore, basically used all the classic ingredients but in a cool brash way, but still added nothing new and was a fan movie.

I think Rogue is the best that Disney can ever do, without going to a different fresh era such as KOTOR. Rogue had the AT ATs, Darth Vader, stormtroopers, played it safe, but it's not a repeatable trick.

Star Wars was few and far between; he just killed a beloved franchise.

Superhero movies have killed cinema

>Ryan was the only one who understood that trolling is a art

I'll never understand how someone can hate AotC more than Phantom Menace. Nothing happens in Phantom Menace. It barely resembles Star Wars.

Fuckloads of shit happened in Attack of the Clones. None of it made any sense but it still happened. Phantom Menace might as well have been set in it's own little universe. If not for constantly refering to the weirdass choreography battle warrior monks no one had ever seen before as jedi all you would have to do is change two names and no one would have known they were the same franchise at all.
