Did high school kids really do this...

Did high school kids really do this? Just start talking about their personal problems and have a dance party if left alone for an hour?

these days they look at their phones except for the school shooter

Don't you?

No, not really. I was bullied through highschool and am pratically invisible to my college classmates.

No. It's a dumb fantasy that teenagers ever open up to other teenagers when adults aren't in the room.

forget about me

>dance party
no but they do autistic shit, this generation is probably dabbing or whatever meme is hot. High school was always gossip I guess you didn't socialize

This. In reality, the kids are just minding their own business or on their phones (usually teachers doing detention duty don't give a fuck).

Only if they're in their 20's

a modern day version of this would be great
>chad and stacy casually chit chat while looking at their phones
>goth/emo girl looks at phones, never says a word
>nerd plays games on phone/tablet/small laptop or just watches streamers play games
>rebel boy sleeps the entire time due to all the xanax pills he took
>principle comes in and tells them it's time to go
>they leave
>nerd is still a loser
>goth girl is still a tumblr slut
>stacy and chad continue on as if nothing happened
>rebel kid gets taken to hospital due to xanxs actually being fake ones and laced with fent

The point is that they were locked up in there for a whole day.

No phones, no computers.

Even teenagers today would soon figure out something to do besides what they were there to do in the first place.

But yeah, it's a romanticized and highly dramatic hollywood version of high school, of course they would start dancing and talking about suicide.

I grew up back them, we dressed silly by today's standards, we partied a lot, we slept in tents and we had fun together.

Answer: nope
Double dubs: checked

I always find it funny they feel a little resistant when they are about to go back to their lives

So they "opened" to each other and sweared never to go back to their old selves???
How come their previous lives meant nothing to them?

My highschool had 5 immigrants, of which 1 is still my best friend.

at the end of this movie all the chads get new gfs and the nerd goes home alone to kill himself.

No. They don't. Nobody does. Each of them had his separated circle of life. Each of them follows their circle. There is no reason for them to make a new circle against their previous lives.

>Even teenagers today would soon figure out something to do besides what they were there to do in the first place
t. someone who's never been in detention/saturday school

they keep that shit locked down. you cant sleep, talk, listen to music. cant even lay your head down before they tell you to leave and you have to come back next week.

>they moved the chairs, danced on handrails, messed with vents, littered the floor
I feel sorry for jani. The real one not the chill one

>kids left unsupervised inside the property don't try to burn it down

I work with kids.
If left alone the boys will screw around and find ways to entertain themselves at the detriment of their environment and the girls will gossip.

They are like monkeys.

Not in the movie. You're saying that a group of 2018 teens locked in a room with no phones, no computers, and no supervision wouldn't eventually start talking to each other?
