I'm not sure Yung was doing an accent. She's moved around a lot and naturally has one of those "lots of different places" accents like Lambert was supposed to be going for in Highlander.

I didn't notice any inconsistency. I just assumed whatever accent she was doing was some flavor of "greek" and went about my business.

I liked Elektra Nachos in the series, but tbqh I've never read a DD comic in my life (except those issues of Ennis Punisher he was in)

My main problem with her was kind of the lack of goals and motivations. She was just doing some random stuff with not a lot of payoffs

It's hard to write good, likable female characters.
They can be well-written cunts or likable doormats, but they can't be well written and likable.
Sure, someone will chime in and tell me they really liked Skylar White, but the consensus was she was a turbo cunt.

The issue with Skylar is she was a contrivance to devote less time to Walter having to extricate himself from situations with the psychos he does business with, and instead to some dumb bitch who's an accountant for a shady as fuck business who somehow has never heard of money laundering.

Elektra was a psycho bitch with an annoying voice, but her plotline led to her and Daredevil fighting ninjas. Fighting Ninjas is a much better end result.
