Films in which they aren't is tougher.

Schindler's List

Amazon's The Man in The High Castle has some moments when there is at least some grey moral area when it comes to certain people working for the regime.

Dead Snow

real life

Fatherland, sort of. Rutger Hauer's character is a "good guy" and also in the SS, I think.

Mémés aside this is still an excellent movie if you guys haven't seen it.

Any movie with Nazis.

>Das Boot
Not really the "good guys" but it's about a German Uboat crew and is from their perspective.
Actually a good movie but you have to watch the full length feature, might even learn some German.

08/15 is a series of movies which is not so well known but reall worth checking out. It was really populour in the 1950s when it was released in Germany back then, because it kind of stood out. Most movies where romances or light comedies because post war germany audience wanted entertainment and forget about the war.

This was focussing on Wehrmacht soldiers and really doesn't centers about political idealogies or indeological, moral issues special for the Third Reich. It shows the Wehrmacht soldiers as people trying to get along and is more about military drill in general and how structures of power and control may change you. It is also surprsingly satiric.

triumph of the will

10 points. I've added it to my list.

Thanks guys

Another recommendation. The Nazis are not really portrayed as good people and they are pretty exaggerated character wise but it has a pretty patrician allegorical approach how anybody could become a part of the regime and thinking you are doing something good.

It's a movie where you need to turn your brain on, though.

Ich klage an (1941)

German "propaganda" movie with the aim to get people to accept the planned Euthanasia of cripples, mentally retarded and genetically disordered.

Very good movie though.

anyone getting Carice naked is a good guy in my book

No such thing exist. However, there is about a dozen of movies were European Axis soldiers are "good guys" and mow down Judeo-Bolshevik Asiatic hordes. Most of them were made in Finland and Baltic states.

another where at least one nazi is a good guy

-Der Untergang
-Triumph Des Willens
-Au revoir les Enfants: there are a few scenes where the nazi soldiers are good (one time siding with an old jew man at a restaurant against the french militia, another time bavarian soldiers helping french boys lost in the woods)
-Hitlerjunge Salomon (it's not good vs evil)

this as well

You have to look for films made in Germany, France, Italy between 1935-1945.

There's a french film called 'Forces Occultes' (1943) about how freemasons controlled the country before the german invasion, it shows you another side of history.

The Pianist

Swing Kids

The short bit of Inglorious Basterds I saw made the nazis seem disciplined and dignified whereas the United Statesians and their baseballbat-kike just seemed like psychos. Clearly, Tarantino is pro-nazi. Nice.
