The villain is way too hot for that.
>one of the most forgettable animated movies of all time
Fixed that for you, OP.
True.
There's a lot worse that went straight to VHS, or wasn't worth localizing.
Thought it was alright, it gave us a character that was nothing more than giant ass jokes from a woman.
Really nothing inherently wrong with it. Looking back it was funnier than most of what Illumination makes now.
its wasn't bad
It's cute and serviceable, and it has some cool designs. It's not amazing, but it's enjoyable.
There are probably a lot of animated films that bring less to the table than this thing, or are less interesting and fun.
Not bad at all, it was fun most of the time, and s said, it has interesting designs, I loved the city as a whole.
Not even close.
if you listened to the commentary track, the concept guy that designed the robots was really disappointed with the finale movie (but trying to hide it)
he wanted the movie to be much darker, and for the villains to scare the the crap out of kids watching (this is supported by a deleted scene on the DVD that shows a random ?homeless? robot get killed by the street sweeper things)
Remember that scene where Aunt Fanny farted and the fucking street lamp was killed by it?
Yeah, the chalk lines.
Is that dark humor or just fucking stupid?
Not in a world is
- Foodfight!
- Titanic: The Legend Goes On
- Norm of the North
- Fly Me to the Moon
- Space Dogs 3D
- Every movie by Video Brinquedo (The Little Panda Fighter, Ratatoing, Little Bee, Robozinhos, the Little Cars, and more)
- Every movie by Dingo Pictures (Son of the Lion King, The Animals Soccer-Match, Dinosaur Adventure, etc.)
Not when Delgo exists.
>Dinosaur adventure
REEEEEEEE
t. Blockbuster Buster
Seriously I have no idea why that guy hates this movie so much.
It's got some laughs and has some great world design but is overall forgettable.
>"If I seem to be getting smaller, it's because...I'M LEAVING!"
You take that back
It has aged incredibly well, honestly
Another film that blacks somehow enjoy a lot more than whites.
But this ain't no Shark Tales.
I liked Robin Wiliiam's character, especially when he was pretending to be rich.
A little bit of both. It makes sense since everything is animate though and is capable of dying.
I liked the movie, had pretty amazing designs and scenery.
I somehow want to see a darker sequel for that movie.
>yfw Ewan McGregor voiced the blue guy
You forgot about the Emoji movie.
Yes the one you mentioned are terrible because they were meant to be terrible, bit this one is new level of bad.
>
>I have a sister!
>...An ugly sister.
the naked robots gave me a boner
Was it really that bad I remember liking that film when I was 8.
Does anyone have an full scanned copy of Robots art book? I searched the internet for a one, but I couldn't find a copy of it.
The art in the book looks pretty good.
Space chimps was also terrible
It reminds me that Amanda Bynes was a thing
>Yes the one you mentioned are terrible because they were meant to be terrible
No they weren't.
>bit this one is new level of bad.
NO it isn't.
Put the memes down kid.
I never liked this movie because the character designs are ugly as fuck
I had a teacher who worked on it. They said that the movie was over engineered and thus cost way more than necessary.
Little details like their pupils having LED lights as highlights to modelling and rigging things more than necessary. They apparently wrote a script after they finished to see how many controllers were actually used and turns out they only used like 30% of them.
So yeah, little trivia for y'all.
>that domino scene
It was weird seeing a kids movie with an actually supportive dad for once
If you consider the plot, it has a lot more relatable to minorities than white people.
What do you have against it? It was great
No
>one of the worst animated movies of all time
The story is mediocre, not terrible. The animation is attractive. Also, I pity people who didn't get to see the traveling exhibit the movie had, which included a tank full of all the machines and household appliances the animators used as references, it was p cool.
Ewan Mcgregor(?) is a nice guy but box office death as a cartoon VA.
>Mel Brooks was Bigweld
It seems so obvious know that I know
It's was alright and some cool and funny concepts, like in the beginning where they literally build a baby
>What's that extra piece?
>...We did want a boy, right?
kek
THANK YOU BIGWELD
>Video Brinquedo
>he didn't think that The Little Cars was kino
