(almost) every episode tackled a new music genre from rap to classical to metal. The art style was never dull to look at, it was really color full and vibrant which just got cranked up to 11 in the music video segments.

The case was dismissed; the problem for the show was the timing of the lawsuit more than anything else.
Class of 3000 was pretty expensive to make but the lawsuit meant that they had to pull it from the schedule and put any merchandising on hold. So there was no way for it to get the revenue it needed to continue.
On top of that, the writers' strike at the time meant there would be a lengthy delay in making new episodes even if the case was dismissed.
