Why is that douchebag Pete from The League the only person making horrorkino these days? The absolute state of horror

Just watch Halloween 1 (1978) on repeat
Creep 2 sucked, bud. 1 was alright but the end kind of sucked.
I liked the dynamic with the girl who wouldn't fall for his shit this time. I felt like the ending was weak though, felt like a traditional horror film ending.
>mumblecore horror
>t. gets his opinions from wikipedia
There's nothing 'mumblecore' about the Creep films
I thought that dynamic was the worst part. Felt too much like a typical cliche. Bad bitch that doesn't fall for no shit. Then make the whole movie centered around this one thing. To each their own I guess.
>Felt too much like a typical cliche. Bad bitch that doesn't fall for no shit
I liked this here though, because you know what he's capable of and she's actually fucking retarded for thinking that she's just dealing with any other Craigslist beta-male.
Both creep movies suck and anyone who uses the word "horror kino" is a redditor who probably used the word "Lovecraft kino" too
>i'm not allowed to like Creep, it's """Reddit"""
Don't live your life in fear.
I liked Creep
You can like shit films such as Creep but as soon as you use the words "horror kino" and "Lovecraft kino" you automatically become worse than a redditor
That's soy horror for Redditors sorry
Soy horror enthusiast is mad you guys. He just wants to watch found footage horror while looking at Mark Duplass' naked dick and balls
I can't decide if I like either of the Creep movies. I think I like the first one because it's got its funny moments but at the same time, both movies made me cringe and I didn't like seeing him getting away with murder in both cases
>S-sucked! Do you believe that I'm not from Leddit yet?
There's literally nothing wrong with found-footage horror.
Yeah except most of it is bad
that ruined it for me. that and the hairy pits
By ‘it’ you mean horror in general, yes?
No, horror is quite entertaining even the bad ones. But bad found footage is a special kind of iredeemable bad.
only good part of creep 2 is that he hanged dong desu
Even his stuff is "sorta" horror.
It's sad as fuck - the budgets and distribution models are there for Kino, but the talent simply isn't.
Studios, beyond their deals with Blumhouse or Wan, just don't do horror anymore - they know they can't compete at those budget levels with those guys. Blum and friends make nice commercial horror, but what's sad is that the cost of production is so low now that feasibly you could be getting a Street Trash or Evil Dead every other week, but when you check out the low end market, it's staggeringly incompetent. I mean, have you seen what passes for "good" in the current market? V/H/S/, It Follows, You're Next...They're staggeringly inept as basic films. Like not even on the same competency level as student films.
I don't get it - I figure these people are more fans than filmmakers, and the choice of different media to work in or larger range of options for entry level filmmakers means people just don't start with horror anymore.
I was genuinely shocked.
dude seems like he could be big af
