>implying
Redeemed villains always suck fucking dick

vegeta

Zuko

Zuko was boring after he turned good

That's just because it was the conclusion of his entire character. The only problem was the story went on for a little longer after.

Fuck you too, m8.

>a show have so many good things to offer.
>but some vocal and obnoxious shippers degrade the entire show's community and show itself into some nasty cesspools.

Vegeta was just having a mid life crisis. It took a failed grasp at his past glory to integrate how much he had actually changed. Goku even during their fight kept saying so

Not Sup Forums but undertale is a perfect example

>season ends on a cliffhanger
>show doesn't get another season

Which shows ended on an actual cliffhanger? Do they even exist?

Wonder over yonder

>Super Robot Monkey Team Hyper Force Go
>Duckman
>Stroker and Hoop

Like half of single season shows end on some form of cliffhanger, even episodic shows might have a to be continued at the end of their season

I said ACTUAL cliffhanger, you literal fucking retard.
Thanks for the list, but I'm not familiar with any of those. Is it an actual cliffhanger though, or just a sequel hook?
If it's "like half" then examples shouldn't be hard to find. Post some.
Also if it's an episodic show nobody gives a shit, that sort of thing is generally meant as a joke then.

>Super Robot Monkey Team Hyper Force Go
Main villain is resurrected and attacks the main city, team gets ready to stop him
>Duckman
Duckman marries the twin sister of his dead wife, at the wedding his dead wife (obviously not dead) barges in and the episode ends
>Stroker and Hoop
Episode ends with them in their car dropping to their deaths

Vegeta was a shit good guy. He was only worthwhile when he tried to be bad, like when he was Majin Vegeta
AT
SVtFoE
OK K.O.
Etc.

The regular Teen titans

Second one sounds like a parody or something.
First and third ones though... man that's terrible.
>I said ACTUAL cliffhanger, you literal fucking retard.

>Second one sounds like a parody or something.

youtu.be/E3T6wVn39KY?t=20m33s

More like a cruel joke.

>mid-life crisis
>is goku's neighbor who has a hot wife who is rich and two kids

Yeah man, mid-life crisis right there

>one of the characters has an emotional and poignant death scene
>brought back to life at the end

>fat character
>their whole personality is being dumb and constantly hungry

>main character is mistaken for a pervert

>chracters win a large sum of money
>they either lose it, waste on somethong completely useless or spend to cover the damages done in this episode

>boys vs. girs episode

>"There was no treasure! The real treasure was the journey and friends we made along the way!"

>love triangles

>two attractive male chracters spoke to eachother a couple of times
>a huge subset of fandom obsessively and obnoxiously ships them

>character quotes 9th grade physics textbook
>"In English, please"

>"strong" female character
>that means she's an angry, constantly bitching killjoy

>creators listening to the fans and making a popular ship canon, and the show's quality drops because of that

>conflict solved by the "power of love"

>I have never watched a cartoon ever

So why are you on Sup Forums, idiot?

On the other hand, if there are other villains who actually do choose to redeem themselves, it makes them look better.

This looks so fuxking stupid. What are these fisher price costumes?

Sometimes its the best thing.

>villain turns over a new leaf and actually has a shot at redemption
>succeeds and redeems himself
>we later learn that he achieved his evil plan in some other or indirect way
>bonus points he achieves something worse like getting stronger/better powers

>one character says"look on the bright side"or"it can't get any worse "
>it Immediately begins to rain

Went from one of the most threatening beings in the galaxy to his daughter's designated diaper changer. Sad!

ReBoot

Unless you count those shitty comics that came out later and don't even remotely look like the show, but no one does.

It ended on a message mentally challenged people like yoursepf don't get. They closed the world wide titans arc and ended the series on a theme. If you want to complain that they didn't catch THAT particular villain in the end, then you probably didn't see the show's start. They started midhunt on a villain with little context, they ended midhunt on a villain with little context.

>Becomes the number jobber in anime.

Only seem to be proving his point.

>superhero couple
>man is a total wimp

>man is a total wimp

I would be fine with it if the guy had a few "world of cardboard" moments.

Majin Vegeta was fucking stupid. The only good thing to come out of it was his death scene, but even that was pointless after a while.

it was clear from the beginning that he would become a good guy(and technically he was always more of an anti-hero to begin with) so zuko doesn't count

Fucking hell, Manta.

That shit always annoy me. It becomes even problematic if the original creator dies or the company goes defunct leading to really bad fanfiction.

>female hero
>the male villain has to be made as pathetic as humanly possible
Maybe this one is on me, but outside of horror franchises, the villains of male characters are far more likely to fill me with dread than villains of female characters.

It's the internet, user. You can swear for real here.

yeah, because the alternative would make the woman distressed and that's misogynistic

Vegeta should have stayed dead on Namek.

>Female hero/villain
>constantly brings up the fact that they are a girl

>female villain / henchwoman
>betrays the baddies after a ''moral awakening''
>jumps ship to have a relationship with the good guy

>female villain / henchwoman
>betrays the baddies for any reason
>Also, if she's not the single most competent/intelligent crony, she's damn near close

It's just as bad when she's a traitor for personal power

Tron.

Vegeta's not a great example. He kinda blows.

SatAM.

Detentionaire

>"There was no treasure! The real treasure was the journey and friends we made along the way!"
It's gotten to the point that parodies of this are becoming the real overdone cliche.

>tfw Jack Spicer was originally going to be the monk of steel

GI Joe Renegades

I love The recent, but sadly short redeem clayface

For the third fucking time:
>I said ACTUAL cliffhanger, you literal fucking retard.

>jumps ship to have a relationship with the good guy
And funny enough she never gets the protagonist anyway because the protagonist already has a generic good girl that's the typical love interest that's been tagging along with him since the beginning.

>>conflict solved by the "power of love"
G Gundam got words for you nigga youtube.com/watch?v=6fUJ6LehQ3I

The Pirates of Dark Water

Between the two Vegeta became the superior dad, that's the victory that counts

Clone High

symbionic titan

>female villain / henchwoman
>only real fight is against the sole female hero
>it's also the sole female hero's only real fight
More of a movie cliche, but it still annoys me.

Look, I love WOY but the ending certainly wasn't a cliffhanger.

>fat character
>their whole personality is being dumb and constantly hungry
This one is not a trope but realism

>villain is redeemed
>dies in the end

Spectacular Spider-Man

>cured the autism
You sure this isn't an edit?

>love triangles
>creators listening to the fans and making a popular ship canon, and the show's quality drops because of that
that are some of the reasons why digimon adventure and digimon 02 communities so insufferable. Sure, they can be frustrated over the ending. But, GOD, show some decency and not to shit on the later seasons just because "muh ships aren't canon" nonsense.

As usual, nobody bothers to post the best cartoon

Reboot

Nigga, calm your ass down.

>"This example of a redeemed villain doesn't count because he was written to be a redeemed villain"
What did he mean by this?

Transformers Animated

No. Retards must be called out.

Rewatching the episode with balloons and his secret always makes me feel weird

>creators listening to the fans and making a popular ship canon, and the show's quality drops because of that
Is there any explanation for Korra x Asami except this?

Sup Forums doesn't know shit about Vegeta. Sup Forums loves him.

Metalocolypse.

Nice bait, not every fat person is a gluttonous retard
And that's honestly a really shitty and harmful stereotype to push when like 2/3s of Americans and a large percentage of the world is overweight or obese

>and the show's quality drops because of that
The quality of that show was in the gutter long before the final four minutes.

Damn, Tintin looks like that?

>Its a character encounters an autistic child episode
>This kid sucks at everything, but here, lets make him good at art.

Fuck off.

>Piece of fiction comes from certain country
>Villain is just a nonsensical villain of all the countries irrational fears
>E.g. 1. America's most recognisable villains are a Jew who can make guns useless, a black quadripalegic samurai wizard, and a clown who tries to torture billionaires.
>E.g. 2. The UK's most recognisable villains are a rich dude who recognises a suave Scot as a threat, a rich guy from Eastern Europe who seduces British women and gives great lovebites, and an Irishman that's decent at maths.

Need I go on?

>an Irishman that's decent at maths.

>entire arc is about "changing fate"

Stay mad fatty.

>victim of bullying is called 'your just as bad as the ones who bully you' whenever they try to stand up for themselves

>"I WILL DESTROY YOU"
>If we fight him he's gonna destroy up
>We're finished
>I swear on my father's name, I will undo you
>"I just can't shake the feeling that when we find out what's wrong with me, it's going to lead to my destruction!"

I don't think the concept of death and killing deserves this much censoring, dammit.

The power of love, brought to you by Burger King.

Because all that was left of his character was teen angst

>main character gains a new power or ability
>forgets about it the next arc

No they made a big thing about an arc about Manta being an autistic kid or something

1st is Magneto & 3rd is the Joker, who's the 2nd?

Darth Vader

VERY good post

FUCKING

>any character, whether he/she is a recurring or new introduced character, got shit from fanbases.
>ONLY because the said character ruins their OTP.
>or the said character takes some of their husbandos' or waifus' spotlight.
I used to hate those phenomenons with passions, but I am apathetic toward those nonsense because I know there is nothing I can do.

>90s Spiderman,
>Spiderman Unlimited,
>Mtv Spiderman,
>Spectacular Spiderman.
Peter really has a shitty life, I wish somebody could make a spiderverse 2 and give a satisfying ending to those Spidermen.

my name is earl

The guy in the front has a Snes controler on his chest. Why do they have cartoon eyes painted in their visiors, they would actually look cooler without them.
