TP changed how many people saw tv. With a bang it altered something that had been seen as stupid throwaway entertainment into something that could have some deeper meaning in it.

First season and most of second are great, hilarious and suspenseful. I finished it and brought it up to my parents and my plebbest step mom gushed about how much she loved it.

Original Twin Peaks are not even in his top5 work. The Return is better and most of his films are better.


The best original episodes are directed and Lynch, and he literally had hate relationship with ABC, and they didnt force him to make Beyond Life and Death, because they already didnt like each other. Episodes 1 and 2 just set the stage and the characters. It's not until the dream with the midget that things get Lynchian and weird. The first few episodes should be really straight forward essentially.
