I think about this a lot.

Emily Jean is amazing
No. Star Wars is unique and nothing else will never come close.
It's sci-fi and fantasy mixed together perfectly.
there's hardly any sci-fi elements in it, it's more space adventure and fantasy
please use her public name, emma stone. emily jean is for her private life.
> t. emily jean
please use her actual name, THE CUTEST FRICKEN GIRL IN THE UNIVERSE
Are you excited for Maniac?
Lotr came close but was ruined by hackson Jackson and his squad of merry fuckwhits with the hobbit and now whatever the fuck this new Amazon tv show is.
The games are a lost cause shadows of war was trash story wise
no idea is star wars level. it's all about the execution, not the idea.
What could have been...
emnlaylee a cute
>there's hardly any sci-fi elements in star wars
yeah ok bud, apparently it's only sci-fi when you provide made up science to justify your made up technology
i agree
>can't help but fall for this bait
Sci-fi is the examination of the human condition through the lens of future discoveries (either tech or aliens). Filling your fantasy adventure with robots and spaceships does NOT make it sci-fi.
no
Star Wars is soyboy crap.
It sucked back then, and it suck now.
Iktfb. I think that at this point nothing short of a total reset of the Hollywood film industry will make a project like Star Wars possible again.
I don't give a shit what annotative definition you use. If you take Seven Samurai and put it into space, it doesn't become science fiction. Aesop's Fables with robots isn't sci-fi. Sci-fi is a genre, not a setting.
Gotta love the titty-ship in that movie
Emma Stone is COOL!
yes! post more
>future
>Sci-fi is a genre, not a setting.
thats where you're wrong grandpa
oh my god, i love her.
Im not sure were i get this idea but im pretty sure star trek is soy too.
>the next Star Wars level idea
B R I G H T
>sci-fi
>science-fiction
>science

You won't see another SW level groundbreaking release because the soyboy legions give everything undeserved (fake) enthusiasm. When everything good and bad is being praised, the saturation prevents great things from earning the proper amount of recognition. Also Hollywood is too busy running every conceivable cinematic universe into the ground. Shit has to die out before we can see real new life.
>Shit has to die out before we can see real new life.
Eisenstein already said film was a medium with a duration and an end. Cinema's dead. Arguably already entered its post-mortem phase in the 60's.
2nd best emma has no right to look that cool as an elf. she must confer with the best emma council first in order for such deliberate attempts to take best emma's reign from roberts and be acknowledged properly. how dare she! you're on notice 2nd best emma. you're on notice.
It’s more like:
>someone had the idea for the next big hit franchise but isn’t dedicated enough to write and sell it.
>nothing like it
It is a pretty standard pulp novel space adventure that was filmed by a director into weebshit before weebs were a thing.
The only thing noteworthy was that this type of thing was filmed and done well.
I have greatly enjoyed it overstating its welcome. Dumped my disney stock months ago.
This is what you call space opera and it had been done plenty of times before star wars.
Barsoom
John Carter of Mars
Flash Gordon
Valerian and Laureline
Tons of stuff in Heavy Metal
>I have greatly enjoyed it overstating its welcome. Dumped my disney stock months ago.
>getting emotional with your investments
Never gonna make it in the new world.
>Where science fiction does not permit the existence of fantasy or supernatural elements, science fantasy explicitly relies upon them.
