>Kevin Feige Says Brie Larson’s Captain Marvel Will Be the Strongest Superhero Yet
>“It’s very important to us that all of our heroes do not become silhouette-perfect cutout icons,” said Feige. “All of the Marvel characters have flaws to them, all of them have a deep humanity to them. With Captain Marvel, she is as powerful a character as we’ve ever put in a movie. Her powers are off the charts, and when she’s introduced, she will be by far the strongest character we’ve ever had. It’s important, then, to counterbalance that with someone who feels real. She needs to have a humanity to tap into, and Brie can do that.”
wait captain marvel is more powerful than strange?

>“It’s very important to us that all of our heroes do not become silhouette-perfect cutout icons,” >Kevin Feige Says Brie Larson’s Captain Marvel Will Be the Strongest Superhero Yet >The female character is stronger than anything you have seen before >silhouette-perfect cutout icons >Captain Marvel >silhouette-perfect cutout icons >Captain Marvel >who feels real. She needs to have a humanity to tap into >Captain Marvel
If you understand the lore behind this it almost seems like he is making fun of her....like really nigga?
>All of the Marvel characters have flaws to them, all of them have a deep humanity to them what the fuck? imagine actually believing that
Joshua James
>it's ok when Superman does it
Jace Taylor
Let's try this again >Kevin Feige Says Brie Larson’s Captain Marvel Will Be the Strongest Superhero Yet >Captain Marvel >“It’s very important to us that all of our heroes do not become silhouette-perfect cutout icons,” said Feige. >Captain Marvel >with someone who feels real. She needs to have a humanity to tap into >Captain Marvel
Who ...do you think...captain marvel is....why do you think...she was made....and for what...reason....
Superman's stories don't simply revolve around him being the strongest or the fastest or the most durable, they revolve around him making the right choices; that's what makes him 'super'. He chooses to use his power in the right way. The conflict and tension that arises in his stories are a result of him trying to make the right decision. That's essentially what comics are meant to be about. Of course there's the whole thing about how most are written, published and produced by jews, so a lot of the 'doing the right thing' turns out to be shit like saving illegal immigrants from deportation and making sure that africans get enough food to support seven kids each, but the concept behind them remains the same: use power for good. We know that superman can stop any bad guy, and batman can beat up any criminal. What makes their stories interesting is how and why they choose to do so.
You think that's what they're going for with Captain Marvel? Of course not, they're just making her a stronk woman for the sake of being a stronk woman. The irony being that that's exactly how women view being powerful, all power and no responsibility, that's for the men to deal with after the stronk woman is done kicking ass.

Tell that to Zod's snapped neck

Looks like Feige has finally got the same disease that's made most other entertainers completely lack self-awareness.
It's going to be a fucking terrible movie but they'll meme the shit out of it a la Black Panther. >I'm going to see Captain Marvel. >Because I believe women can be super heroes! >Women NEEDED this.
Watch it do $1B.
She's not going to be in Infinity War part 2, tho, is she? Can I just check out of MCU before she gets involved?
William Roberts
Not saying that movie was much good, but my point remains the same. Realistically superman should've taken that fight to the moon or a vast desert or somewhere where nobody would get hurt through collateral damage.

>If I just say more retarded things I will...prove myself retarded
Way to miss the thread to not even bring up a valid point ya dip, back to school.
Captain Marvel unironically ruins everything she is a part of. >They have rebooted her like 30 times now >They just keep her around to continue their decades long streak of flipping off DC >Some new writer comes with big ideas for her >They always turn to shit But this is MCU, it's already shit so who knows maybe she can finally do something good. >I doubt it though, somehow this will fuck up canon or...something
To be fair, I thought Marvel was better than that.
The entire reason why I have always been more on the marvel side than the DC one is because Marvel powers are more grounded and less divine. Literally 2 out of every 3 heroes in DC is a god that can do everything or some shit, which is very boring.
If Marvel is gonna go the DC route, I will literally drop it, unironically.

>Dude she's totally not a pandering, perfect female superhero! She isn't because she, uh, gets sad sometimes and makes mistakes! >flash forward to after the movie is released, obvious she is a pandering, perfect female hero >Dude she's totally not a pandering, perfect female superhero! Because... uh... well you only say that because you're a fucking sexist nazi bigot whiteboy!
Liam Sanchez
>Superman's stories don't simply revolve around him being the strongest or the fastest or the most durable
this piece of shit book sold less than gwenpool at some point.
Kayden Sullivan
that's nice but if she's so powerful and great, where was she during the events of avengers, age of ultran, civil war, and whatever the fuck
Ayden White
is that a rat inside of that thing? gross
Chase Reyes

People will buy her comics when the MCU turns her into A-list and actually makes her a good character
Jackson Ramirez
>You now realize the fatal flaw of having an amalgamation of the entire justice league >Write a story without one person being able to say "Why didnt she just ..." >Good fucking luck pal
Squats is a form of patriarchal control, shitlord.
Jayden Hughes
>It’s important, then, to counterbalance that with someone who feels real.
I fucking HATE this shit
You don't go to a superhero movie to watch the superhero be a content-with-mediocrity soccer mom. Fuck, NO ONE wants to see that shit, superhero movie or not.
Imagine the outrage if they cast a dyel 6/10 as Superman or Batman. But women don't have to put in effort, effort is sexist

HURR DURR WHERE DA 'SPLOSIONS AT?! DIS STORY IS BORING HURRR!

>we got Larson instead of the qt p2t of Dianna Agron. Life aint fair.
Even comic nerds say Marvel is not even close to being as strong as Thor. She's not even on the same wavelength as Omega Level mutants, either.
Jonathan Taylor
How can an ass be that flat?
Luke Reed
I'm not really a fan of ass anyways. Face > Boobs > Thigh > Legs (but not feet) > Ass
Cooper Powell
Hey, at least you admit to having poor taste.
Robert Morris
I love my Brie-Brie kys if you don't love her k faggots?!?!

This: youtube.com/watch?v=1wG9ckPauEY Different 'actress' but the point remains the same. Most actresses are actually androgynes meant to subvert our society.
William King
>likes thighs >doesn't care about ass WTF? What kind of abomination are you into?
Nathan Flores
Face is far superior to all other features. I agree with him on that at least.
