What're some good movies/docs with comfy trains? Watched pic related, playing Layton and the Diabolical box, I'm on a comfy train kick
All aboard the Comfy Train
Well for documentaries it's easy, anything by Michael Portillo.
Murder on the Orient Express
Thanks alot , never even heard of that dude, seems interesting.
Someone recommended Ray's Nayak a few weeks back
Very much like a Fellini film and even though it has many flashbacks and dreams most of it takes place on a train
Also about half the movie is in English
Semi related some of the best bits of Grand Budapest Hotel were set on trains, and also there’s this little commercial Wes Anderson directed
How can you bring up Wes Anderson without mentioning the movie that is actually about a train ride?
Inside No.9
Season 2 Ep1 - La Couchette
not so comfy, but quite amusing.
Probably because OP already mentioned it with the picture, dumbo
Inside No. 9 has an episode set entirely within a train. "La Couchette" (s02e1). Each episode is a standalone story with its own set of characters and plot so don't worry if you haven't seen any other episodes.
because it's already mentioned in the OP? It's fine, we all overlook things sometimes.
Thanks for the suggestions m8s, good stuff

I could have sworn that Vice (before they got shitty) did a really cool ~30 minute documentary on riding the Trans Siberian railway West. Tried to find it for you on YouTube but I couldn't, sorry man
Ah, found it - the first 3 or 4 parts of this are pretty comfy, even if it's supposed to be about how miserable the Norks are
Snowpiercer
Nice
Seen it, actually had some comfy. I love escaping/ living/ hiding on train stuff
Von Ryans Express. Trevor howard and frank sinatra thwarting nazis.
Not a train movie exactly, but the most memorable scenes are. Comfy espionage.
Good recommendations
