Kind of.
The director's cut (without the cartoon shit) is pretty damn close, but what holds it back is Snyder being Snyder with his ugly pop songs and lack of subtlety in a lot of scenes. Also the cast should have been around 10 years older (besides Rorschach). Also replace Ozy and Spectre and it would be kino.
I still watch the opening credits fairly regularly.
Cautiously optimistic about the HBO series.
