I was born into a Catholic household, and became an atheist during my rebellious teen years. I'm 20-years old, and I'm really starting to reconsider the possibility that Christianity may be true, and that this world truly is a battle between good and evil.

Same boat as you. I started going back to church around a year ago. I started by scheduling a meeting with the priest and talking with him for over two hours. Not only did this feel right to me with respect to things going on in the world, it's helped me personally and psychologically. I strongly encourage everyone to at least connect with their local clergy.

If you believe this at this early of an age then you're way ahead of the game. It is OP and the more you learn the more you realize this is a temporary place. The devil doesn't want you to believe he exists. Keep learning OP and researching, it gets a lot crazier but God only reveals to you when you are ready.

Well, to be honest I've just started to attend to the mass again.
I was born in a catholic family too, and was raised inside the faith. Studied in catholic schools, did all the rites, and went to church every Sunday.
But i was sexually abused by a school colleague who was also catholic (he was a fucking altar boy) and a few years older than me.
From there on, my life kinda derailed and i turned up to drugs at a very young age as mean to dull the pain and feel "normal" like the other kids. Spent (or wasted, i don't know) ten years of my life abusing drugs in a daily basis. Failed college (three fucking times, at least it is for free here), lost every job i managed to get and now i'm 25 and i really fucked up my life. A few months back i started having this delusions about being a marked man, because i was a fucking jobless junkie and couldn't afford my drugs so i begged for it in the streets and i thought people were going to kill me for it. So i returned to church with the hope of becoming a missionary and getting the fuck out as soon as possible. They didn't trusted me enough to send me, but i kept coming back because is not that bad after all.
Lad it took me to 24 to come around to Christ. It's real. It's all real.
