PUNISHER STORYTIME
All this year 'll be posting Punisher comics, mostly from the pre-Ennis era, but with a storytime or two (or three) from the Ennis era as well. Expect at least 1 storytime per week.
Yesterday I posted Jim Starlin and Bernie Wrightson's Punisher P.O.V. as a sort of "halloween" storytime (which you can read here: ). You really should check it out because it features some stupidly nice artwork (and even coloring by BILL WRAY of all people!) and genuinely fantastic monster designs and is one of the few "horror" stories that's been told with The Punisher.
And before that, last weekend I storytimed Steven Grant's run on The Punisher War Journal (which you can read here: and here: ), which was more or less a sequel to the 90s Punisher "event" Suicide Run (which you can still read here: and here: ).
Grant's War Journal eventually turned into essentially the adventures of Lynn Michaels, with the actual Punisher being busy with other stuff that was mostly detailed in the pages of the main Punisher series at the time.
Then Grant's run ends and Chuck Dixon comes back and writes the final issues of The Punisher War Journal. His first full arc back wraps up Lynn's story, which is what we'll be reading today.
