This show is danker than expected

Attached: Thallasaphobia.jpg (1280x720, 80K)

because nobody is uploading the episodes

>moving at snails pace
>ships fitted with engine and rudder
why are the sails out?

>engine
?? and wtf kind of ship dosent have a rudder, all of them do you dum dum

I would if somebody would upload the fucking rest of it.

It has a coal-powered train engine on board to help it move the propeller, the sails are for when the winds are good. The ship is a hybrid sail/steam warship which were the most advanced navy ships of the time

Is this supernatural horror, or just a realistic story about a couple sailors having a really shitty time?

yes

Anyone know if there's torrents out there past Episode 2? Couldn't find any last night.

>gods and goddess's
>demon bears
its a realistic story

The only way there will be torrents is if you buy AMC Premier and rip them for us yourself

I'm an yurofag, apologies.

I watched the only 2 that are out.

it had a steam engine to power a propeller (which is what I meant sorry). It also provided a heating system to the below decks

so what. they're just gonna be stuck in ice the whole time now?

I want more comfy open water

They have a shitty time but they're also getting lead poisoning from their water supply and having hallucinations

And their canned food is rotting.
Fun times to be had.

It's based on a real expedition.

Canned food rots?
Of course, everything rots eventually, but you'd think they'd at least bring the kind that doesn't rot in just a few years when stored in freezing temperatures.

Someone fucked up the canning historically. Ships who used the same supplier had reports of their canned food going bad prematurely

Yes

Waiting for the rest of the episodes so I can marathon it.

you motherfuckers tricked me into watching the first two episodes because you said the rest were coming

We didn't, AMC did

It was 1845 they didn't have modern preservative techniques, shit would definitely go bad or get contaminated eventually

Jokes on them, neets can't into cable subscription
;_;

What show?

Boku no Pirateship

One Piece

because the torrents aren't out yet
some faggot user posted a screenshot of him watching ep5 on his pc, fucking cunt do us all a solid and upload the rest in 1080p

Just finished watching the episode AMC's website had up
It's fucking rad and I can't wait to watch the rest

The person who did the canning, both historically and in the story, did a quick shitty job that resulted in food rotting and lead infecting the food.

Really the entire shebang was a disaster waiting to happen.

Because it's a dishonest travesty of the original novels.

BECAUSE NO CUNT HAS UPLOADED IT YET

Because only two episodes are out.

Canning was hit or miss in those times. Plus I'm guessing the cold itself didn't help.

so unusual to see this, show is excellent so far

Where the fuck is ep3+

Boats

I'm not a big fan of the dump all the episodes thing.

The Terror

No, they're all out if you have AMC Premier. But lol who still has cable in 2018

Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End

>shit show that tv pretends is good because the cast is white

I'm in Britain, I couldn't even get it if I wasn't cheap.

>expect something historical
>get a fucking monster movie with demons gods and magic

Why was the supernatural shit at all necessary?

Attached: 1518551869774.png (1228x1150, 191K)

are the small, creepy deckhand and his dumbass fuckbuddy in the show?

Soylent Blue

Years ago, I saw a documentary about this. That documentary was very scary. I bet it was better than this show

yes, because men freezing and starving and resorting to cannibalism isn't terrifying enough

yeah we have to wait a month unless a rip happens

If it has gods and magic I will be disappointed

Everything should be explainable by the lead poisoning they're getting

I honestly feel like they're shooting themselves in the foot with this release pattern. I want to recommend this to everyone I know but I'm waiting till the whole thing drops because people only binge watch now.

THEN WHY THE FUCK IS NO ONE UPLOADING THEM TO PIRATE SITES

I JUST WANT TO WATCH GOADAJNDAJBKAD

Some Neets parents must do

why are Americans so lazy, if it were in Europe I would already have the whole series sitting on my desktop

Because the only historical reports on what happened for like 150 years were stories of supernatural shit that went on up there from fried eskimoes.

>need a specific cable provider
>need a subscription to a service nobody wants

Nobody can get their hands on it even if they were trying.

So, did other expeditions ever actually find an Arctic passage?

literally some dude in a one-man boat did

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Northwest_Passage
Yes
>In 1906, the Norwegian explorer Roald Amundsen first successfully completed a passage from Greenland to Alaska in the sloop Gjoa.[17] Since that date, several fortified ships have made the journey.

Norwegian ship
>a crew of six

Franklin Expedition
>crew of 129

I really hope this show plays up the folly of the Victorians.

>The virgin british explorers
>The chad norwegian

WHAT
FUCKING
SHOW
IS
THIS?

>I really hope this show plays up the folly of the Victorians.
They passed over the best person to lead the expedition because he's Irish

The Thing

The Terror you sperg

The Thing 2: electric boogaloo

cold boaty floaty

Rome on Ice

Clifton Knickerbocker and his compeers introducing Lady Silence versus the unholy rigors of the damnable artic circle and it's bear shaped guardian of doom

Vinland Saga

Alive: 1845

Based Arctic Expedition Series That Should Have Had The Ravenous Plot As It's Supernatural Elements Instead Of Muh Native Spirit Gods And Their Bear Weapon

Dumb Cocksucker: Starring (You)

The Grey

Why's he dumb for not knowing a shitshow?

That or the monster turning out to be the Frankenstein monster. That would have been kind of great.

WILL SOME FUCKFACE RIP THE EPISODES AND UPLOAD THEM ALREADY

That's my idea now. Dark Universe here I come.

Or just weasel the plot into Mountains of Madness

Trips demand it

Or make it a The Thing pre-prequel.

Alien on Ice

All of this. In the same series.

Trips or no trips you're preaching to the choir here

gtfo Gleefag

It would be cool if they like ran into a giant fucking sea monster that you dont get to see till the end of the show

Because a whole fucking serie on men starving and slowly dying would be boring and pointless?
I hope it will turn into a lovecraftian show!

Because I'm half way through the book and I hate Ridley Scott. I know that fucker won't do the decent book any justice, and I know the Terror monster is just going to be a giant weird looking CGI bear.

Attached: 1419801843993.jpg (854x640, 100K)

Ayy Lmao: Winter Special

they should have mad the bear orange and gave it pflumpfs face.

he's just an exec producer, they don't really do anything

In the book it turns into a fucking Dungeons and Dragons type bullshit where an ancient goddess summoned the monster to fight other gods but it betrayed her and she banished it, and there's shaman and shit that cast spells.

WHERE DO I GET BEYOND EPISODE 2 OF THIS KINOMACHINA

Attached: o-JENNIFER-LAWRENCE-facebook.jpg (2000x1000, 296K)

probably coz already read this drama.

>plodding 90 minutes
>no sci-fi, mystery or intriguing chars
>man vs. elements, disease, polar bears and natives COOL STORY BRO
>men and their hubris are the real monsters! OH THE TERROR!
>kino comfy

looks like i got duped my Sup Forums again. who actually likes this show and why are all of them bongs?

the americans returns tonite you fuck

Is it actually lol monster bears or is it just lead poisoning hallucinations like in real life?

Also, where the fuck is the stream, it's not out here for another month
