Shakespeare is praised more for his use of the language than his story writing though

Throne of Blood IS fucking great. Love the ending a ton, especially that kino shot at the end.

Well that's because most of his stories aren't his.

Shakespeare is a mediocre writer and only reason he's held in high regard is Anglo shilling.

His way of words is actually crazy, his stories are aight. Romeo and Juliet isn't that great, but Hamlet and Macbeth are.

Why is it called Throne of Blood if the name translates to Spider Web's Caste

Shouldn't you be reuploading todays video for the fifth time?

Throne of Blood sounds cooler?

No one cares but here are the 4 I've read in order of story
Hamlet > Macbeth > Romeo and Juliet > Othello
And writing
Hamlet > Romeo and Juliet > Macbeth > Othello
Honestly the best thing about Othello was Iago.

Shakespeare was always too good for the cultureless low IQ scum of the british isles.

Shakespeare wrote anime tier trash

>Shakespeare wrote anime tier
Yes.
>trash
No.

O FULL OF SCORPIONS IS MY MIND!!!!!!

Olivier Hamlet is better than any other shakespeare film

I've yet to read Othello, excited to do so.

It means they're better

>Nabokov on other authors
>Shakespeare, William.
>Read complete works between 14 and 15. One would like to have filmed him in the role of the King's Ghost. His verbal poetic texture is the greatest the world has ever known, and immensely superior to the structure of his plays as plays. It is the metaphor that is the thing, not the play. A genius.

love you pewds

Loose adaptations are almost always better than those trying to slavishly stick to the original script. Throne of Blood took the story of MacBeth and did it in a considerably different style than any westerner would; in the style of Noh theatre.

Some real good shit

Japs tend to obsess over everything. Perfectionism is in their gook blood.

>Camus, Albert.
>Dislike him. Second-rate, ephemeral, puffed-up. A nonentity, means absolutely nothing to me. Awful.
>Sartre, Jean-Paul.
>Even more awful than Camus.

Also
>Plato.
>Not particularly fond of him.

It means Shakespeare is better if he would just shut up for a second

Plato is king.

>write pulp dramedy for plebs
>400 years later
>considered the height of theatre

>muh philosopher king
revenge of the nerds tier

Cultural appropriation is to be encouraged

Plato was a pleb who coasted on Socrate's corpse.

There was only one...
