what ongoing comics are you currently enjoying, and why?
I'm really enjoying the Wild Storm even just like 8 issues in. I really like the new take on the conspiratorial angle from the 90s and the comic just fucking looks good. Like every page is a piece of artistry.
Deadly Class continues to be enjoyable every issue and things are really picking back up in the narrative. the two plots tying together in the most recent issue finally was rewarding
Green Arrow is consistently solid even if the ninth circle shit is endless.
East of West is in its last third and its getting towards that hickman-end part where each issue there's a new twist and things continually ramp up but it'll probably end disappointingly.
Deathstroke is incredible too, like this comic managed to make a mock trial/philosophical debate about the nature of evil into something interesting for a whole issue.

Copra is still my favorite on-going. My boner can't wait for Fiffe's Bloodstrike next year either.
Jaxon Nguyen
He's far more of a pulp hero, there's not much Cape/Superhero about him or the world he inhabits.
And either way his stories range from really good to fantastic, and if you wont read them because of a simple genre descriptor you're missing out big time.
Robert Hernandez
Platoon is a war comic, following Frank in Vietnam way before he becomes The Punisher.
Gavin Martinez
Platoon is unmistakably a war comic, not a superhero comic.
