I...know....someone - and please construe that as broadly as you like, because I have no interest in you playing detective and figuring it out - who works with Mark Burnett in a legal capacity. No, not "Mark Burnett's lawyer" - but still, this person has an ear to things.
Anyway, Burnett is preparing for an NDA lawsuit. Specifically, he'll be going after - or probably going after, depending on what happens - a former exec producer on The Apprentice, who at this point looks almost certain to leak damaging footage, via Hillary's Brooklyn operation.
The bad news: As you may have heard, the tape has Trump saying "nigger" twice..which is...not good.
The good news: When you look at the larger context, it's fairly exculpatory. Trump is discussing a black contestant in overwhelmingly positive terms, and making some (fairly heartfelt, according to the person I know - to be clear, I haven't seen the tape) comments about the problems in the black community. He compliments the way the contestant speaks, and then comments that it's a contrast to the "nigger this, nigger that" speech more often heard in that community.
(Some more good news: Apparently they were going to release this a month ago, but got scared that Trump would drop out and be replaced by Pence, who scared them more. They've tracked back now and decided to release it, because their internal polling shows them down where they need to be up.)

SPREAD THE TRUTH. They're probably going to release this as a fucking two-second clip. People need to see the WHOLE video, IN context. If this does hit the news tomorrow, you need to make sure everyone you know sees the video in full, NOT just the two or three seconds that will be replayed over and over on the TV media.
I don't care if you have to hawk it on Facebook, tweet about it, start an email chain with your co-workers: Whatever happens, people need to see the whole video and the real context.
If we end up letting our friends vote for a warmongering literal criminal over a guy who always speaks the truth in plain language about our societal problems, we can only blame ourselves.

I agree that if they release it in full, people will understand and not really care in the end, but the reason I posted this is that I'm worried they'll just play the audio of him saying the word itself over and over, without providing the context that shows his good intentions.

I don't think it's outside the realm of possibility that you're right, but I have a hard time believing Trump would ever get caught saying the nigger-word, much less with the hard R.
