Polls are meaningless because of the Electoral College. The way our system is set up, the liberal candidate has a huge head start because California and New York tend to vote liberal. That's ~80 electoral votes right off the bat

How the fuck does Trump regularly pull in 20.000 - 30.000 people to his rallies, packs venues, Hillary can barely get 200 on average, Tim Kaine gave a speech to 30 people including SS and journalists the other day... and it's still a close race somehow?

That's the whole thing about the polls and now the early election results that bothers me, the disparaging info between what seems to be reality and what is actual reality.

There were a bunch of people rallying for Bernie. There were a bunch of people on social media supporting him too. There were also a bunch of people rallying for Trump in California. All that means is that they have the loudest supporters, not the most.

Early voting is looking really good for Trump, polls are intentionally tied so that they can maintain some reputation no matter who wins.

Bernie was in the DNC system and had superdelegates actively cooperating with HRC against him though, so he never had a chance of winning regardless of the size of his crowds. The RNC and NeverTrumpers never had that kind of sway against The Don.

The crowds have to at least be indicative of something. Why else would you bother standing in line for hours, sometimes to have to stay outside because the venue is totally packed, sometimes in the rain, sometimes in the hot sun, just for a chance to hear a guy in a spray tan talk? The message has got to be reaching way more people than HRC, but the numbers don't match up.

Okay, but California had a large crowd for Trump too, and it's not going to turn red. Again, that in of itself doesn't mean anything. The type of people voting for Hillary are probably going to do it begrudgingly, while the type of people who vote for Trump are passionate about it. That doesn't there are more of the latter and less of the former.

all polls aren't considering people who don't identify with either party. when you also factor in the democrat bias of the polling, you can pretty much add 10 to 15 points across all states.
