I've got a question for Trump supporters. As you've surely seen, there are a lot of threads asking you what you'll do if he loses. But I've got a different question: what will you do if he wins but turns out to be a huge disappointment? After Obama won in 2008, there were a lot of people disillusioned with his actual administration because he didn't live up to the expectations they built of him in their minds. I can't help but think that the same thing is going on with Trump. The guy has a practical cult of personality worshiping him here on Sup Forums. How can a person, a real person, ever live up to the hype we create for him?
Imagine Trump taking office, and you're all holding your breath waiting for him to save the day....except he never does. The Wall is a failure, the Muslim Ban never happens because the Saudi king said something nice about him on Twitter so now he suddenly loves muslims, and he's just wayyy too submissive to Putin. Nothing he promised comes to fruition. Instead, Trump is revealed to be a conman who just said whatever you wanted to hear so he can take office and fan his ego with the prestige of being President without actually doing anything. What would you do then?
>But I've got a different question: what will you do if he wins but turns out to be a huge disappointment?
It doesn't matter what he does. The point is that America will vote against the establishment.
Gavin Young

>After Obama won in 2008, there were a lot of people disillusioned with his actual administration because he didn't live up to the expectations
What? Theyre still pushing the "only president with zero scandals TAKE THAT RACISTS!
Samuel Stewart
All that matters is 5 years of leftist salt. Also John "Current Year" Oliver will kill himself
Dylan Sanders
That seems like an awfully short-sighted position to take. Of course it matters what he does. He could become just as bad/corrupt as the current establishment, if not worse. You need to consider substantive policy, not just vote blindly because "it's against the establishment". If people vote for Trump, lots of them will expect him to live up to his promises. If he doesn't deliver, all of a sudden the establishment starts looking pretty good again.
I'm pretty sure it was more Far Left people, like actual socialists, who were very disappointed with Obama. A lot has changed since 2008, including the rise of SJWism.
Leo Jones
Either way he'll still be infinitely more entertaining than Obama
Parker Morales

Too much centralized power is bad.
You need to fuck em up at times to bring them back to Earth.

>What if he wins but turns out to be a big disappointment? During the next election, actively campaign for the most qualified person based upon independent, non news biased analysis. See, that's kind of the rule here. I was supporting McCain because he was the most qualified... ...On all areas that were NOT the economy. Which turned out to be the most important one. Obama got my vote as a result. With Bush V Gore, it was clearly Bush as Gore, while well meaning and having his own impressive chops, failed on a number of economic policy issues. I ate crow with that one fair is fair. During 04 I voted Kerry because he was better with matters of war than Bush was. Ate Crow there and just kept on moving.
The presidential election is simply a measure of where the country currently is politically. The most important votes are cast at the state house and senate level, as well as the congressional level. Though your most immediate changes come about at the local level and should NEVER be ignored.
Anthony Bennett
if he wins, the only way he can turn out to be an absolute failure is due to the people in higher power positions. The Feds are a private banking institution, despite what their name implies. As a result they can artificially influence the economy by increasing interest rates. It's shown that they do this regularly throughout terms with republicans, while dem terms they turn them low, despite a failing economy and massive increase in inflation over dem terms. Even if he wins, it's going to be a major struggle for him to fight the powers at hand. It's not simply black and white like you all believe. If you want to understand how the banking system works, watch this, it's relatively short and explains it simple enough to understand youtu.be/hE5Sw8qJ-g0
Leo Stewart
Your voting record is complete shit. You are responsible for this country going to shit as much as the politicians that did the work
Matthew Kelly
Not really. My presidential voting records indicate not being a fucking slave to one party.
Lucas Watson
>That seems like an awfully short-sighted position to take.
Let's put this into perspective.
We're 20 trillion dollars in debt. Our worthless currency is propped up by petrodollars kept afloat by nations filled with our mortal enemies.
We've allowed tens of millions of third-worlders into our nation who hate our heritage and our culture but are happy to leech off the land our ancestors built as long as the gravy train lasts.
Half of the world wants to see us dead, and worse yet, they have decent reasons.
A sizable portion of the descendants of the Founding Fathers have irreversibly turned into r-strategists who will fall over themselves to apologize for their race and their heritage and will more than likely not lift a finger to save it when the results of their masochistic actions inevitably spiral out of their control.
It really doesn't matter what anyone in a position of power does or does not do. This nation, either the real American nation or this half-dead shopping mall of a proposition nation, does not have the will to save itself. We are sliding into the oblivion of balkanization and the permanent cessation of the unsustainable standards of living to which you and your fellow consumers have become accustomed. This is ultimately a good thing, but probably not for you personally. Your children or grandchildren maybe, assuming you actually have any.
The least you can do is give the people who helped you slip the noose around your neck a giant middle finger as the trap door opens.
Nolan Davis
Jesus, you sound like a complete asshole to know. I'm glad I don't.

We need to vote against Jews and their Alien backers once and for all. Let White People live in peace and stop being parasites. Build the wall. Build the wall.

I won't be disappointed when my only expectation is that Hillary and all her problems will oppress me no more.

I'll be bitter and go back to voting Libertarian. I'm voting Trump because Johnson is a retard and I hate the stance the left has taken on acting like Trump is some kind of Antichrist. Also build wall.

>Proper investigation into Hillary >House of Cards comes crashing down >(((they))) lose majority power Even if he's shit it's only 4 years, the long term effects of Trump winning this election far outweigh anything he can do in office.

are you an alien fucker or a jew rat?
Parker Davis
If he can implement half of his 100 days plan he will already be 100x a better president than Obama and not be a disappointment.

I'm assuming you are Russian. Do you find anything ironic about your statement?

How did I get there? I care about reality, not some insane Marxist fantasy. I bet you'd just LOVE for everything to fall apart so we could all live in shit, but that's not what I am looking forward to.

It won't happen, Trumps way too proud, and getting too old, to want to be known as the conman President and go down in history as being one of Americas worst. It simply would not happen.
That said I think there is room for some flexibility in what he promised and what is actually delivered. I think it's naive to expect 100% of what any politician says, but we'll definitely get some of it.
I think "The Wall" is more of an idea regarding stronger borders than anything else. He might not actually give us a giant physical wall (like The Great Wall in China) but instead just put money into securing borders, closing up gaps, hiring more border patrol, that kind of thing. And honestly I don't see how people could get particularly outraged at that. If there is a real giant Wall, all the better, but personally I doubt there will be.
Juan Lewis
Trump = Zion. Yes or no? Is the real question.
Austin Walker
I don't think trump will beable to do much of anything at best i think he could repeal obamacare but if he wins the mass butthurt from all these people i hate will be so fantastic i will be able to come home from work and read all the crying all over the internet and it will feel so good and i will rub it in so hard i would just feel so good every moment of the day for at least 2 weeks after hes elected

As long as hes president its ok, unless he doesnt deports illegals back to their country and doesnt build the wall he promised then Yes Ima have a problem with Trump and his presidency and hope he is removed after 4 years if he doesnt deliver.
Elijah Bennett
Doesn't really matter. What will you do if FBIanon is right, and he has been this far, and Clinton starts war with Russia? Trump can't fuck things up much more than that.
Joshua Torres
Keeping HRC out of power is reward enough. Anything Trump does is icing on the cake.
Blake Mitchell
The wall is going to be very real. What faggots don't understand is that the wall is actually not going to be that long. It doesn't have to be long. America Mexico border has natural barriers. The wall is only going to cover a small portion on the border. There is no reason for it to not be built. The US government already planned and funded the wall, only to pull out at the last minute.
The wall is going to happen just because it's the most clear solid thing Trump can accomplish immediately as the president. It's going to reassure the voters that they made the correct choice and Trump is a man of his word, even thought the wall is just a small part of his campaign.
Also can you faggots just shut the fuck up about the wall already? Jesus fucking Christ. It has been blown completely out of proportion. It's insane. Trump put an emphasis on the wall the same way he puts an emphasis on saying ''radical islamic terrorism''. The point that he is making is that you can't fight terrorism when you can't even name the enemy, the point is that you can't combat illegal immigration if you can't even build a wall to stop them from coming in.
The wall is just the first step at border control just like naming Muslim terrorists is the first step at fighting them. It doesn't stop at that. Trump isn't going to say ''radical islamic terrorists lol XD'' and give up thinking he has won.
Luke Myers
>what happens when he wins and disappoints
Doesnt matter the point is to stick it to the Left and the Politically correct that Obama symbolises and endorses who has designated Hillary his successor.
It is in effect a rejection of Obama's intended legacy. To deny him the ability to cement it.
Noah Roberts
The thing is... Hillary is a guaranteed greedy, corrupt, woman that will change nothing. With Trump, nobody knows what will happen. But at the very least he is hope since he is not a politician.
Henry Bennett
Still better than Hillary. In any case, I expect all the bright ideas to come from Pence. Trump benefits from either outcome. His brand is even more ubiquitous.
Xavier Hill
Regardless of if he delivers or not, he is still a better option than Hillary.
Owen Hughes
The cronies that Trump installs to replace "the establishment" will be far worse, and you know it.
Angel Smith
>speaking out of his ass this much Jesus
>What faggots don't understand is that the wall is actually not going to be that long. It doesn't have to be long. America Mexico border has natural barriers. The wall is only going to cover a small portion on the border. How many miles, exactly, will the wall cover? The border is about 2000 miles long. Please, I want to know. What are these natural barriers you're talking about? Which ones?
>There is no reason for it to not be built. It's a tremendous waste of time, money and effort. It'll take years to build, in which time immigrants will continue to flood into the US, likely in greater numbers because they don't want to get caught outside when the wall finally (ever?) finishes.
>The US government already planned and funded the wall, only to pull out at the last minute. When? How much? Sources?
>Even if he's shit it's only 4 years, the long term effects of Trump winning this election far outweigh anything he can do in office. He can start wars and launch nukes. Those are all pretty bad.
Cooper Mitchell
Still a much better scenario than potential war, another massive recession, and losing more constitutional rights.
Aaron Martinez
Not an argument
Lincoln Gutierrez
This was the point the entire time. Literal orange hitler, every one gets it. Thats why the drumpf and orange hitler memes dont work. Theyre exactly why hes getting voters.
Adam Phillips
Your description is a caricature, but everybody knows rationally he is neither the second coming of Christ nor the ubermensch. I'd be perfectly content with a moderatly republican president. This is about preventing a further escalation of war and a corrupt establishment. It's also about reclaiming the west and an end to anti-white racism. And with him as POTUS it's easier to gain momentum for national-conservative parties in Europe and end the age of PC and white European self-destruction once and for all.
Trump has good qualities, but there's also things I am worried about with him: Primarily climate change and secondly the Iran deal. I hope he sticks true to his position to ISIS first, cooperate with Russia and deescalate in the middle east.
Ryan Robinson
I really doubt he is going to stop clean energy development, americans have already done a lot in this area to be stopped now and it's good marketing for the USA.
Kevin Scott
I don't expect him to save the day. No one is going to do that. I just want him to bootyblast liberals into the shadow realm.
If the world's going to burn it may as well be entertaining.
