I live in Burien which is about 10 minutes from Seattle. I've been around the state and all I see is Trump signs, but in Seattle it's all Hillary. Rural Washington wants Trump, but Seattle will make Washington Blue.

i believe the idea was to ensure there would always be part time work for teenagers but since they went and raised the minimum wage to 15$ and the major urban areas are fucking sanctuary cities overrun with homeless i don't really see that working out anymore (if it ever did).

Washington is in flux more than many people think, King County is the hardest blue county you've ever seen, but most of the rural areas are very conservative agricultural areas and small government libertarian mountain men.

Washington may have a democratic governor, senators and congressmen but at the state level both houses have been republican controlled for years and there have been some aggressive moves to swing key areas. Snohomish County is the second most important county in the state with heavy manufacturing from Boeing and military bases dominating the employment sectors. Trump has already come to largest city in the county twice and there are way more Trump signs out here than Hillary ones, even though this area usually goes hard blue.

one thing to remember about Washington is that its essentially 100% mail-in ballots only. we already got our ballots weeks ago in the mail and sent them back in; there is no question about voter turnout or who is more motivated to show up at polling places like in other states that dont have their shit together.

That's Oregon btw, but that's where I live and i've been having fantasies about Trump flipping it for the last six months. I live in Portland, a city so horrendously left-wing that homeless people have literally established shanty towns on our public sidewalks that the city does absolutely nothing to remove because whiny hipsters sperg out about "human" rights every time they try to, but I see a lot of Trump/Pence stickers on trucks out in the suburbs, and a LOT more Bernie stickers than Hillary stickers so...you never know, I guess. I voted the day my ballot came in the mail; I can only hope the Trump supporters do the same, and that Bernouts don't bother or vote for Gary Johnson or something. Here's hoping.
