It's seems trumps primary supporters are white , typically uneducated , working class or middle class . They consistently will always vote republican and republicans are the party known for working with the corporate elites . The republicans tend to want to give employers/corporations more rights over those who have to actually work by slashing their benefits , pensions and such . Also , universal healthcare would greatly benefit those in the middle and working class yet these voters can't seem to comprehend that their boss is fucking them over and he vote republican everytime . Republicans don't care about putting any worthwhile legislation that would actually greatly benefit the lower classes snf instead make you believe that you are one tax cut away from prosperity away ( even tho it has shown that republicans focus most of their tax cuts for the billionaire and 1 percent class )
Why do so many of them clearly vote against their own economic interests ?
Americans still have a very wild west mindset. We don't like being taxed, even for something good. Also remember, we are 50 extremely diverse states. It's not a homogenous white country like Denmark or Sweden.
The reason why universal healthcare is problematic is because the burden of the cost would be on younger (mostly white) people with jobs. Unfortunately, Americans have very high rates of obesity, hearth problems, and diabetes. These individuals will overburden the system.
Public health is a very big issue in the US right now. A large portion of our population just won't take their basic health seriously.
As far as the republican vs democrat debate on who is better for the working class, it's state by state. What works for the island of Hawaii doesn't work for Alaska which doesn't work for New York which doesn't work for Alabama.
Some states are moving towards a more universal system - such as medicare/medicaid buy-in, while other states prefer a free market approach with increased competition.

Wow, really makes me think

They are all cucks (not kidding here) who want to be Trumps little bitch like the majority of Sup Forumsacks

> At least you help save other peoples lives when you pay taxes to medicare. If they are working people thats good for the GDP and the country as a whole.
Republicans dont really understand economic realities though, or have any sense of human dignity.
Jason Smith
So true. But you got that people in Germany for instance too. They actually vote for people that want to abolish all that stuff for some hate propaganda and dog-eats-dog mentality in return.

Democrats hate white people and are actively working to make the country less white.

First off many American cities have populations larger than the entirety of Denmark
We have the third largest population in the world and it's made up of many different groups with competing interests Denmark is demographically homogenous
>Why do so many of them clearly vote against their own economic interests ? Is it in their economic interest to have their jobs shipped overseas and have the value of labor greatly devalued by mass immigration?
Also America still holds dear the ideal of the rugged individual who makes his own way I know this is beyond comprehension for small European nations that have always been built around collectivism and "society before the individual"
We are a nation of rebels We do not want to be bound and constrained by a big government telling us how to live our lives and constantly drumming "the greater good" into our minds
You may think it silly but it's this very attitude that made America the superpower it is today
America fosters innovation and greatness that would otherwise be stifled in Europe because of the "society first" mentality and is stifled in Asia because of rigid conformity to social norms and an unquestioning obedience to superiors
The pioneer spirit is still very much alive in America and you can make it on hard work alone Add a little bit of smarts and some luck to that and you've got a rich man in the making
