What are the absolute must watch Justice League and Justice League Unlimited episodes?

What are the absolute must watch Justice League and Justice League Unlimited episodes?

For the man who has everything. It's better than the original.

Pretty much everything after the first season.

For the Man who has Everything
and Question Authority are the only titles I can remember off the top of my head.

The one where Toyman "kills" Superman is also pretty solid.

The one where Superman tries murdering Darkseid but Batman forces him to bail.

I really wish I got to use this more.

The entire second season of JLU was fucking GOAT

Flash and Substance
The Greatest Story Never Told
The Return

Secret Society is a favorite of mine, but i’d be hard-pressed to say its must watch

I really liked Flash and Substance, but I’m also a flashfag in general so just watch it if you want to

Dark Heart was great for showing the entire expanded Justice League on a mission. Obviously most characters were just background characters, but it was still great seeing so many obscure characters fighting alongside the main cast.

Everything except the Hawk and Dove episodes

"Kids Stuff" is good for a laugh.
"Grudge Match" good for watching the babes beat on each other"
"Far From Home" give Supergirl a happy ending.
"Epilogue" for the feels. Also serves as finale for "Batman Beyond"

This.

Task Force X is fantastic.

Hereafter pts 1 & 2 are genuine gold.
>those genuine feels from everyone thinking Superman is dead
>Superman being manly as fuck under a red sun
>that Vandal Savage character development

This Not to be a dick, but because it's worth it.

That being said, nothing tugs at my heart ore than Comfort and Joy.

Superman trying to look inside his presents only to get frustrated that they're wrapped in lead might be one of my favorite gags of all time.

I wouldnt say it is, cutting robin out makes it e bit weird, but it's still really good.

probably the only adaptation of his work Moore has actually liked

>The one where Toyman "kills" Superman is also pretty solid.
"hereafter" iirc

but yeah come on op, just watch it all. not like there's any "bat in my basement" tier episodes

>Superman invites martian manhunter to celebrate christmas with the kents

warms my heart

>cutting robin out makes it e bit weird
Cutting out Robin only made it better.

The Justice lords stuff was cool, basically Injustice before the concept was cool, (and probably better done) though after Injustice, I've gotten burned out on the concept.

And the STAS episode (metropolis of tomorrow, was it?) was much cooler.

>no bit of batman cracking a shit eating smirk while scolding robin on "impure thoughts" in regards to Wonder Woman being skimpily dressed for the arctic

I still think "For the Man Who Has Everything" would have worked better as a JL episode rather than a JLU episode.
The JL two parter format would have let us get much more attached to Superman's fantasy.

I liked the season three episode where the general got Doomsday powers and went to stomp the Justice League but was held off by the non powered heroes.

May as well include Fearful Symmetry to get the complete Cadmus arc.

Honestly all of them. There are no bad JL episodes, to my knowledge.

That one was amazing

Civil War done right

Avoid any of the episodes that deal with GL and Hawkgirl's relationship in JLU

I agree in that there was never a bad serial, but man could it drag on at times.
While the serial format was great in that it allowed them to tell longer stories, the fact that EVERYTHING had to be at least two parts (except for the Christmas episode) caused a lot of unnecessary, boring scenes.

>that banter with Shining Knight
What a GOAT episode.
