Obama was a braking force, lybia, syria and egypt were advertised for and orchestrated by clinton and kerry. I don't see them doing much in syria though. A no fly zone isn't achievable without going to war with russia, and assads forces have made to many gains to be pushed back again. There are only few moderate headchoppers that remain, and should the US start heavily arming them iran and russia will just pour more troups and equipment into the country to uphold the balance. What i see the US more or less agressively doing is trying to gain influence in the future of syria by the kurds.
