what do u think of star wars rebels?
I couldn't watch past the first few episodes.
But now that almost 4 season are out.
Did it reach clone wars level ?
.
Rebels
The first few episodes are pretty weak it improves greatly as it goes on and the overall plot emerges. Certainly not on the same level of Clone Wars but still an entertaining show
It definitely improves. Most of the first season is just god awful. 2 is OK, 3 is pretty decent and 4 is actually quite good.
>did it reach clone wars level?
nope. well, maybe a few moments.
Are all episodes centered about the hero group? we get to see episodes about villains or secondary characters only? Any decent duels ?Is comedy good,
Yes, not really, yes, and yes
Most of TCW was shit and most of Rebels is shit so maybe.
It never reaches the highs of TCW though, at best Rebels is just okay.
Anything involving Grand Admiral Thrawn is definitely up there.
I love it. I'm conflicted about how they are rushing out new eps of S3. I like getting the show in bulk but know it'll end sooner.
>S3
S4
What's with the butt-ugly character models?
I enjoyed it. First season has a few weak episodes but the cast has great chemistry and Erza eventually matures over time. Stick with it up to when a certain Moff shows up and you'll see the improvement.
The Clone Wars had high highs and low lows. Rebels on the other hand is entirely average.
I hope you're not in any way implying that TCW was better in that regard.
He‘s so fucking ineffectual and yet he keeps acting smug. I can‘t take him seriously.
First season of Clone Wars had plenty of bad in it too.
The way Rebels was discussed at first felt almost exactly like the original reactions to the Clone Wars series.
Rebels improved significantly as time went on.
To be fair he's like a cat that has learned to ignore the mice to catch the rat. Making minimal attempts to appear like he isn't just fucking around. Everytime he brings the hammer down on the rebels they shit themselves and pray glory hound imperials get in his way.
>Did it reach clone wars level ?
no , sadly no
It was slightly.
and there we start complain, for me Rebels is a good show has its flaw, but it has his ggod point, my complain if Dave go away with idea of spacefamily
Get Zeb out go to his planet in season 2 give Rex more screen time, make Maul Join the rebellion to take Vader and Palpatine
You're going to be disappointed I think.
I dunno, Season 1 finale and Season 2's opener and finale hit that level pretty well.
Rebels is a failure, because he didn't stand as it's owne show, and end be like a spinoff for TCW
maul Character get ruine hunt for Obi wan
when sith Kill his Mother and Brother ...
I've tried multiple times to get into this show and just can't. The budget is half of what Clone Wars had, and it shows everywhere, especially in the animation. The characters are all stereotypes and cookie cutouts, and their voice actors and dialogue fucking blow. The main protag is a shonen level "I'm gonna be hokage believe it" ass hat. Even forgiving all of that though, the shit way this show looks and sounds, its worst offense is by far the way it treats its audience. Disney gives *none* of the respect CN gave its audience, the plot is incredibly weak and transparent, filled with tropes and cliche, the character interactions are all dumbed down (again, Ezra being Ezra doesn't help with this at all).
I stuck with it all the way into S2 because it does have its moments. The action isn't bad, and it shows a lot of respect for the Star Wars universe even if its not considered canon anymore. I may get back into it, but honestly until Sup Forums comes out with a Rebels Sup Forums approved watchlist, Idk if I can stomach wading through that shit for 2 minutes of quality every now and again.
>ineffectual
The guy spends the entirety of season 3 luring the rebels into an elaborate trap which only falls apart because one of his dumb fuck subordinates destroys the entire plan by losing his Interdictor. In season 4 he's mostly had a backseat role commanding a blockade. You just think he's ineffectual because there aren't major characters dying left right and centre because of him.
Thrawn doesn't give a fuck about a small ragtag group of rebels. He wants to get all of them at once.
and how some mandalorian take downe Interdictor
The plan fell apart the moment Constantine fucked up. If the ship hadn't managed to escape the battle they would have eradicated to a man. The Mandalorians would never have been able to show up.

and if the plan Success, every one will die and we get no season 4
It's got some really high points like Twilight of the Apprentice, Obi-Wan's duel with Maul and the whole mythos with the Loth wolves - that shit's really cool to me. Overall it doesn't reach the same level of general quality TCW had by the end, but I'd rather have it than not.
Dude darksaber
I don't consider season 4 to be that good.
The maul shit was forced as fuck. He really should have tried to actually join the rebellion, considering they have an actual army and have fought Vader and survived at that point. Instead he just kind of floats around obsessing over this one kid who doesn't even like him.
The only real thing 4 has going for it is having something resembling an actual character arc where the episodes aren't all self contained and full of filler. The story itself isn't super great but there you go.

No, it didn't reach Clone Wars level, but it's a different show entirely. It's good for what it is by showing individuals living under the Empire and how the nascent Rebellion got underway.
Characters originally seem abrasive but if you give them benefit of the doubt they will grow on you.
