prove

me

wrong

I don't really like that show. It seems confused.

I really wish i could, but this was pure kino so I guess you win.

You work away your life and what does it get you? Money. Money that can't make up for the time the job takes.

This show wants young people to become NEETs

Real lesson being life doesn't start when you retire or in the weekends or when you come back from work.
Your life is wathever you spend the most time doing, if that's work then find a way to enjoy it, otherwise you wasted your life being miserable

That was the episode which convinced me to watch the show.

...it ended up being shit.

I can't, I'll get banned by some faggot

You think Frybo ever got work after that role? I haven't seen him in any other shows since.

Why PD wasnt the designated best friend character? I mean both had a good chemistry in that episode

Because he's a straight white male, and they can't have that. Also they needed to push connie even though having a male with a female best friend just never works

I sometimes get the feeling that the gems have some superiority complex towards humans, hence why they don't interact with townies that much, and therefore try their best to get Steven away from having a social life with them.
Or just this

>Peedee is the only townie that had actual potential
>This episode was his only major appearance, while Ronaldo gets more fucking spotlight than him

Seriously, man. He needs another episode. I don't care if it's garbage.

Star Vs the Forces of Evil proves you wrong. It can be done well if the writers are competent and understand how to write characters.

Oh, they do have a superiority complex towards humans, especially Pearl, keep in mind she would treat them like pests, the first time she saw Greg she was trying to throw him back over the fence saying "Humans go on the other side of the fence."
Pearl does believe she is better, but that is slowly changing as you can see in the more current episodes.

chile tid is the best episode

Indirect Kiss is the best episode, but Frybo ain't bad

It's okay but it's no Restaurant Wars or Hit The Diamond.

>star vs
>good writing
like yeah, its better than steven universe sometimes, but its still mediocre

>Star Vs the Forces of Evil proves you wrong
oh you mean the show with like three different love triangles involving said 'friendship'

This. I think what pisses me off is that we never got some kind of love triangle with Steven, Connie, and Peedee. The last steven bomb would have been a lot better if it ended with Peedee cucking Steven and hooking up with Connie.

...

Well, that was fucking easy.

This one had the best feels.

i want to put my peepee in peedee

>Peedee acts his age
>Steven doesn't
I felt there was a reason Steven hangs out with fucking Onion more than Peedee. Having a teen who isn't enamored with gem shit like the cool kids or Connie means Steven's challenged by a full human perspective that doesn't accept bullshit and that wouldn't work for the show runners who push Steven hanging with the cool kids, Sadie, Lars (unwillingly), or Onion; all people who are markedly older or younger than him aside Connie who exists as his love interest and won't challenge him on the topic of social maturity of a young man.

God I really wish this series gets its own version of the generic "they don't belong here" villain, just to see how right he is.

Rumor has it he's been making a name for himself in the "alternative" show business. Traded the red carpet for beaded curtains.

this was actually the episode that made me decide to definitely watch the rest of the series. But I wouldn't call it the best tho
