AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR Spoilers

Big if true.

Steve Rogers has adopted the identity of Nomad and is leading the Secret Avengers, formed by Black Widow and Falcon. Scarlet Witch, Hawkeye and Ant-Man went their different ways. Ant-Man is not in the movie in any significant way.

Steve and his team have minor roles. Early on, they rescue Scarlet Witch and Vision from the Children of Thanos and send them to Wakanda so Black Panther and his sister Shuri can extract the Mind Stone from the Vision and guard it against Thanos. When Thanos' forces invade Wakanda in the end, they return to help. Steve is the one that manages to kill Thanos' main enforcer Corvus Glaive after he kills Vision and defeats everyone else that tries to stop him.

Thanos attacks the Asgardians' ship in search of the Space Stone, which Loki trades for Thanos' pardon and the lives of the refugees, becoming Thanos' advisor. Thor is severely beaten and cast out into space by Thanos, where he is later found by the Guardians of the Galaxy, who had been following Thanos' trail of destruction across the galaxy.

Star-Lord, Gamora, Drax and Mantis go to Knowhere to consult with the Collector, but find him being tortured by Thanos for the Reality Stone. Meanwhile, Thor, Rocket and Teen Groot visit the Dwarf King Eitri (Peter Dinklage), who forged Mjolnir, for weapons. Eitri has also forged the Infinity Gauntlet, and Thanos has cut off his hands so he can not build something powerful enough to destroy it. Thor finds an axe, Jarnbjorn, made from the same metal as Mjolnir, but it is unfinished, so Teen Groot gives his wood to make the handle.

There's a gag that, although Eitri is considered a "dwarf", he's actually massive by mortal standards. Thor goes up on his knee. Thor also doesn't get his eye back. He wears the eyepatch for the entire movie.

>Teen Groot gives his wood to make the handle

Groot/Thor porn when?

Iron Man takes the spotlight, heading into space with Doctor Strange to meet Thor and the Guardians of the Galaxy and stop Thanos. Spider-Man tags along and ends up getting injured in battle.

Black Panther unites the Wakandan tribe leaders - including M'Baku - to defend Wakanda, and brings Winter Soldier out of cryosleep to help fight Thanos' forces, providing him with a new arm. Hawkeye also joins the battle in the end.

Bruce Banner makes it back to Earth in a escape pod, but can't turn into the Hulk anymore. He pilots the Hulkbuster armor during the battle of Wakanda and fights Thanos' strongest enforcer, Cull Obsidian, who tears the Hulkbuster apart. He eventually turns into the Hulk again, bursts out of the Hulkbuster and defeats Cull Obsidian.

Doctor Strange develops a rivalry with Thanos' smartest enforcer, Ebony Maw, after he breaks into the Sanctum Sanctorum and uses his psychic powers to mindfuck everyone and steal the Time Stone.

Doctor Strange becomes good friends with both Iron Man and Spider-Man. Thor also gets along well with Star-Lord. Lots of humor come from Iron Man/Drax and Spider-Man/Teen Groot interactions.

Valkyrie has a minor appearance, having led the Asgardian refugees to safety after Loki's betrayal and Thor's apparent death.

Wong's appearance is also minor, hanging out at the Sanctum Sanctorum when Ebony Maw attacks and when Strange and Banner later meet Iron Man.

Red Skull also briefly appears, having been stranded in space since WWII, when he was seemingly disintegrated by the Space Stone.

Thanos kills Gamora to get the Soul Stone. Its guardian reveals that one can only wield it by sacrificing the soul of a loved one. Since Gamora is one of Thanos' daughters, he "loves" her (as an asset, not as person), and her death grants him control of the Soul Stone. It is also what compels Nebula to join the others in order to avenge her sister.

Sounds bitchin

>Iron Man takes the spotlight
>Captain America has a minor role

Boo! AVENGERS 4 better reverse that.

Hugo Weaving Red Skull? I wonder how much they had to pay him to do that, if true.

Tony Stark has always taken the spotlight of MCU. If these spoilers are true, don't expect Av4 to change much.

Fan-fics keep telling us he dies, but Vision is already confirmed for Avengers 4.

You understand what the Infinity Gauntlet is, right?

Some characters are probably gonna end up being ressurected.

All I wanted was Death....

He changed his tune recently about coming back.

Crossbones is also returning somehow.

>Teen Groot gives his wood

Hee hee, wood.

Not surprised, RDJ wank is so big that it also invaded Cap 3.

But if these rumors are true and Red Skull is still alive, I would love a one on one between those two. Maybe Red Skull somehow ends up having the upper hand against everyone and Cap makes another ultimate sacrifice to stop him again, causing both Steve and Johann to go down in a black hole or in a big fight that ends up with their demise.

As long as Steve goes down doing something heroic and having his big moment I don't care about the rest of the movie being one big RDJ wank.

James Gunn also confirmed GotG vol. 3 being the last movie with all of the current Guardians as a team, and said that Gamora was going to be a big focus. So is she dies she's probably not perma death and I expect something similar for Vision.

She's most likely going to appear in Avengers 4

Zoe Saldana "leaked" the name and now she's going to get killed off in the first IW movie.

and in a surprise, marvel secretly got the rights to mutants back and deadpool shows up with her

So what's the story for Avengers 4?

Doesn't matter if you think about it. Next GotG movie will be in about 10 years. And none of the current cast with exception to Groot and Rocket might be in Vol. 3.

Most likely Infinity Gauntlet, all of the heroes vs Thanos and him fucking everyone up. The fate of the universe hanging in the balance and Cosmic abstracts taking notice.

Avengers 3 is more like Thanos and his minions getting the stones.

Good to know their changing a characters entire gimmick for a joke

Rhodey, Gamora, Sam, MJ, Liz, Heimdall, and everyone from Wakanda to die a brutal death.

What are you talking about? Vol. 3 comes out in like 2020.

>So is she dies she's probably not perma death and I expect something similar for Vision.
Vision can be rebuild but most likely nerfed due to the lost of the Infinity Gem.

>And none of the current cast with exception to Groot and Rocket might be in Vol. 3.

GotG vol. 3 comics out in 2020 not to mention that it's in their contracts to be there. I know Pratt signed for 6 films and he said he would be up for doing more movies as Star-Lord post GotG vol. 3. Especially since they're going to go Cosmic oriented he most likely will be like the Iron Man of the Cosmic movies.

you're a retard if you think marvel is dropping pratt or batista

Is this not 2010!?

I was just making a joke. Gunn is on the second draft of his script and for a 2020 release, the movie will be shot in 2019.

Wasn't cap suppose to die in this one? Or is that the last cap movie after this

I read somewhere that he was still contractually obligated to appear in at least one more film whether he wanted to or not.

woah if true

>since they're going to go Cosmic oriented he most likely will be like the Iron Man of the Cosmic movies.

This could either be good or really bad.

I just hope if they ever do Nova that they try to replicate their relationship in the comics (especially since Marvel Studios seems to be ignoring all of the NuMarvel stuff) and not make Rich the Spider-Man to his RDJ.

Then again I can't see Rich really respecting MCU Star-Lord that much, but maybe experiencing the MCU's version of Annihilation would get them both to form a tight bond.

According to Evan's Avengers 3 was his last movie, but he agreed to do Avengers 4 because he thought it would be a nice conclusion for his character.

One way or another, Nova movie is happening, there is no doubt about it.

Now just to see who gets cast.

I'm honestly a bit anxious but we probably won't get any info about it until Avengers 4 is done.

Hopefully they settle their rights with Fox because I would love to see Annihilus as a big bad for Nova somewhere down the line.

fox really needs to give up the rights. x-men as part of the next chapter in the mcu would be great

>Lot's of humor
Just fucking kill me

>not even a teaser out yet officially
is this weird? will we get something with new star wars?

Yes, its confirmed to be in front of The Last Jedi. But its probably dropping sooner

>best character in the MCU is barely in the movie

This is too real to be real.

>Avengers 4
>after credits
>Stark trying to start ordinary life and leaving in past Iron Man
>2 men walking in his office despite Happy protests that Tony is busy
>both of them talking about their new reserches
>Tony interested in it, but making look like he isn't care, but asking them anyway what they want from his part
>They telling him that they are low on budget and financial help would be really good
>Tony grudgingly agree
>both guests are happy and shaking hands with Tony before they go
Tony: "I didn't catch your names by the way"
1 guy: "Oh right, almost forgot. I'm Reed, Reed Richards."
T: "Ok Richards and yours friend..."
2 guy: "Victor... I prefer just Victor"

Or something like my shitty fanfic.

Ms. Marvel movie when?

I hope it has the abstracts scene, MCU has celestials and watchers, I suppose they could include Mistress Love and Sire Hate, Lord Order and MAster Chaos, Stranger, and Eternity.

Not going to happen, at least anytime soon. Carol hasnt even had her movie yet, not to mention we already have 2 size changers and stretch powers are hard to make look good

Okay, that space stone thing is a tad unbelievable.

Stretchy people work in comics, but on screen it always looks dumb.

I think they could do her cameo in one of her movies. Like Kamala's first appearance in Captain Marvel comics as a background character.

>said that Gamora was going to be a big focus.

Maybe her death plays a big role and impact on the team

And what would be the point?

Pleasing fans, set up for a future movies and it could explain why was she so obsessed with Carol

Apparently the F4 and cosmic characters rights aren't even at FOX, but at some company named Constantin Films.

you know you're a worthless pilot when you lose using the Hulkbuster

>marvel secretly got the rights to mutants back
They'll have them back probably by this time next year

Marvel will more likely say that they got the Fantastic Four back, and will reveal the X-Men at a later date, just to blow everyone's minds.

>just to blow everyone's minds.
they won't really be able to hide it since it'll be under a major Disney purchase of most of Fox

Honestly, I'd dig this.

Marvel Studios could give fuck-all for the readership of Ms Marvel, or any of the current comics. You notice the movie Thor hasn't become a woman. Captain America isn't secretly a Nazi. They're looking to appeal to the maximum number of viewers possible.

That's why I'm not worried about the Captain Marvel movie... it's going to be classic Carol, not a rampaging lesbian. They might show a brief scene of her saving a young Muslim girl who idolizes Carol... hell, they might even have someone say something like "Praise Allah you're safe, Kamala," but a Ms Marvel film is never going to happen. Stretchy powers don't work on the big screen and they're smart enough to know this.

Id see it. How would you guys feel if Avengers Tower just became The Baxter Building? Do they even use that anymore?

>Kamala isn't ruined by capeshit
on other hand
>Kamala in MCU = more popular = no cancelation

Hard choice

>after Loki’s “betrayal”

Dude traded the stone for the lives of the Asgardians. Really surprised Thor himself didn’t do that.
I mean yeah he’s an advisor now but he’s Loki. He’s probably gonna Double Agent that shit.

>Loki betrays Thanos at a pivotal moment
My god, this would make me so happy.

He'll be the Mephisto stand in

Don't mind me, just posting a leaked scene from the movie. Thanos isn't rendered but you can hear him torturing the Collector. Also starring Tobias Funke.

>my.mixtape.moe/vixfjr.mp4

What I find adorable about that scene is Mantis hiding behind her hands when sneaking around

I had a feeling something like this was going to happen in Avengers 3. It's so believable and so Kevin Fiege that I'm convinced this is true and the movie is spoiled for me. But I will say, I do appreciate Marvel going all out with this Infinity War storyline and obviously having Loki be the Mephisto stand in for Avengers 4. All I ask for is great character interactions and a proper conclusion to Chris Evans's character that he passes on the mantle of Captain America to Bucky. I want to see how Bucky responds to being the Captain and his dynamic with Falcon.

WHO HYPED AS FUCK HERE

How can Thanos compete when Red Skull possesses THE COSMIC CUBE?

>nomad
HYPED AS FUCK
low cut uniform that goes down to belly button when?

I'm sure there'll be a quip about that. Either Thor does some incredibly hammy acting trying to convince Thanos that he didn't expect Loki to betray him, or the whole facade is Thor's idea and Loki praises him for having a sneaky side.

This scene is actually pretty kino

>Peter Dinklage
Doesn't he have a huge hardon against playing fantasy shortstacks because he finds them insulting and casting to type?

Rumor is Snyder directed it as guest director

Dude only one quip? What the fuck bro.

Where was the quip? I missed it

Something about money money money

Hence why he's playing a Big Guy in a science fiction setting.

"The hand means stop"

Star lord wanting the group to stop, but they kept walking. He makes a quip that it means to stop. Quick and to the point and there is enough time for the laughter to end before we get serious again.

That's a joke, a quip is a quick and witty response to something said, usually to get the last word.

I get that, but wouldn't that, in a way, be like rubbing salt in the wound?

"Well yeah you're playing a hi-ho dwarf but we'll CGI you into a BIG GUY. You know, for you."

And it's about that point I imagine he does to them what he did to Will Ferrell.

All humor is quips and none of it is ever allowed anywhere because it removes the steaks.
Why would anyone say no to Marvelbucks though?

Iirc Homecoming's plot somewhat revolves around Tony moving out of the tower and taking his stuff with him, so it's currently empty and I'd bet anyone $100 that Marvel probably vacated it specifically to prepare for a potential F4 movie.

>Why would anyone say no to Marvelbucks though?
So you're saying he's short on cash?

It will happen years down the line. Carol will be one of the main stays of the new MCU, and Kamala will get her own teen film like Spider-Man: Homecoming, only it will be an origin story.

That's a LITTLE insensitive of you.

>"Does it surprise you to see me, Captain? I must admit, the circumstances of our reunion are rather....strange. "
>"I could have gone an entire lifetime without ever seeing your face again"
>"You have. Rest assured, I have no intention of fighting you today, or ever again. My perspective has changed. Does this surprise you? "The Red Skull" giving up his crusade?"
>"Well, kind of hard to create a master race stuck on a rock"
>"No Captain, I finally see the futility of it, of everything. I have seen death, Captain Rogers, and it comes for us all. I thought I had power in my grasp all those years ago. As it turns out, I was merely a child holding a bullet"

I have my doubts, but that's just because the last several years have been very rough for him.

>removes the steaks

The tower could look like a big 4, and Tony did say the top dozen floors were R&D. Sounds like the perfect place for Reed

Your Cap is garbage, but your Skull is pretty good.

Was trying to write MCU quip Cap, so apologies if that one line was really shitty

He does get his own movie in-between Avengers films, so it's not all bad.

>No one is holding their mouse.

Fucking casuals.

It's other way around, casual

...

Wow, what a shitter. He can't even kill a mere mortal.

vision dies, auto shit movie if its true.

Proxy has tits.
And can fit 3 whole fists inside her anus at once.

Even Thanos' fists?

user, the writing's been on the wall since he first showed up in Age of Ultron....

Thanos' fist and two Hulk Hands.

Kinda justified because the Hulkbuster starts out stronger than base Hulk but doesn't really become stronger mid-battle. If the enemy is superior from the start, it's not really gonna do much.
