Sophie watching the shooting stars in Howl's Moving Castle
Tangled's "I See the Light"
Are there adults (who aren’t Disney freaks) that unironically are obsessed with the frozen movie?
War machine sequence from the Thief and the Cobbler.
I'll bait
I've seen some, but they all have kids who are super into it as well so it's probably just them trying to have fun with their kids.
wait, isn't that the scene where her hair just randomly goes straight through her arm?
Po finding inner peace
>that flashback scene

Forgot to post the link. This was all done by hand, by the way. Without storyboards. In the 80s.
This is some quality taste.

My personal favorite.
Prince of Egypt "The Plagues"
Out of context and to people who don't give a shit about animation, this is hardly eye candy. Gimme some Zig Zag or something.
that scene in Guardians of Ga'hoole where the owl flew through the fire in slow motion
This aged like milk
Ah man this scene always fucks me up
Unironically my least favorite part of the movie. The palace chase scene, the Thief going for the orb on the tower, and Zigzag in the One Eyes' camp are all better
I still can't stand Frozen's sountrack, but I liked Moana's.
Is there a more recent disney movie I should watch to see if their musics moving in a direction I'd enjoy?
Though I suppose Frozen was just exceptionally shit as I enjoyed Tangled and Princess and the Frog's songs too (well, Friends on the other side, the song in the bayou with the old lady didn't do it for me)
Coco had some good music, but you have to sit through a Frozen "short" with like 5 songs first
>"short" with like 5 songs first
How short is this short? 30 minutes?
21 minutes
I can't. Great choice, user. Was amazing in 3D.
Oh and of course this scene

You frozen fags truly are something else
Any scene from any pixar movie. Any scene from Tangled. Any scene from Wreck-it Ralph. Hell, there are scenes in the Tangled tv series that are more beautiful than anything in Frozen.
came here to post this

Literally any scene from this movie
Pretty much every scene from any classic, Tangled or Moana
The ending to Mary and Max
Or better yet, the entirety of Mary and Max
Or any scene from any classic or post-1990 Disney movie that isn't Frozen. Frozen is not directed particularly well and has an ugly artstyle with a serious bobblehead sameface syndrome.
Making. Of. Robot.
People are saying Tangled without actually giving an example, mostly probably just salty that their Princessfu got forgotten about once Frozen appeared.

The entire lantern sequence leading up to 'I See The Light' is incredible. Not a single word is spoken, yet they perfectly display the heartbroken defeat of the father, along with the strength of his wife to pull him through the darkness time and time again. The fact that we know their daughter is right there, watching the lanterns at that very second, makes it even more heartbreaking because we know there's nothing we the audience can do but watch them suffer and hope.
It isn't random at all, it's a very calculated move in laziness that saved quite a bit of man-hours animating it perfectly. Never underestimate cutting just the right amount of corners.
Kung Fu Panda had no right being as good as it was. I was genuinely pleasantly surprised when I went to see it for the first time.
You don't cut corners in scenes people will watch over and over again.
Ma nigga.
All of Fantasia.
But man. Let it Go. The greatest song Disney ever created, loved by kids, parents and everyone else alike.
...
But that wasn't the first post
I know one, but she is a bit messed in the head, due to her having a terrible youth
That whole movie is top tier animation man
I can´t really pick a favourite
Both the Plagues and Deliver Us look wonderful
The final plague
The Nile turning to blood
The burning bush
What you posted
Definitely my favourite animated movie
Miles above anything Disney made. That water.
