”Regimes fall everyday. I tend to not weep over that, I’m Russian.”

>”Regimes fall everyday. I tend to not weep over that, I’m Russian.”

Wow is this what life is like for you Reds?

As the old saying goes on Russian history:
>''And then it got worse.''

Yeah, like the current regime. Same president since 2000. Very unstable indeed.

okay Russian

tell it to an African that changes their country name a few times in a century

imagine fucking scarlett johanson on her black widow outfit

Russia did that too dude.

But why they chose the US President?

I'm so proud.

I shoulda said decade

>What is the USSR?

To be fair, the man is far less stable now.

If I were a conspiracy nut, I'd be convinced that world leaders were being continuously microdosed with cocaine, just so they keep doing over the top shit, with no real subtlety.

>Using diplomacy to police the south china sea? Fuck it, build some islands there, claim it's ours
>Soft control over Taiwan and Hong Kong? Prepare for 'reunification' with the latter, and a slow coup in the latter
>Just invade Crimea, Ukraine isn't a real country anyway
>We could ignore schengen like we are legally allowed to do, OR we could fuck up half our international institutions for the bantz.
>Anything that comes out of Donald Trump's mouth, or body movements
>This country won't have a drug problem if we kill everyone with a drug problem
>I'm not saying we don't remember war crimes, I'm saying it's just not as important as other items, such as making a military in a country with a stupidly old population

On the bright side, The Thick of It is much more lighthearted these days.

* 'reunification' with the former

Name an African country that changed its name in the last 10 years.

Congo doesn’t count because they returned to their old name after their leader changed it for literally no reason.

Russia is ascendant right now, in stature if not economically. They're proud of their identity and history again, and they see their place in the world again.

They can have the hegemony if they want it, see how much they like bleeding themselves dry to pay for ungrateful child countries.

Egypt

I have an obscene amount of dick girl edits of her
I Don't know why, it's just her I collect them of. and I also don't know why so many exist

Nicholas II did nothing wrong.

Pepsi Presents: New Zanzibar

Really? I thought they were one drop in the oil market away from tumbling into the third-world?

A held together only by how much they hate the Ukraine?

You think Egypt changed its name between 2007 and 2017.

Sorry, thought it said 'did not'.

>Really? I thought they were one drop in the oil market away from tumbling into the third-world?

Not him but they kinda are. Obama was right when he said they’re a smaller and weaker country. IIRC their economy is basically being held together with metaphorical rubber bands and paper clips.

Look up South Sudan

Who's the last one?

Japan

Mind you, that's just Abe. The old have a surprisingly high pacifist population belief, and the young are underrepresented and generally don't like him.

>surprisingly
Not that surprising when you remember where jingoism got them about 7 decades ago.
Hint; in a world of hurt so bad they literally swore off international conflict in their constitution

Perhaps it's just the cynic in me, but history tends to show that populations often lose that 'never again' ethos rather more quickly than they should do.

Post it. I cant fap to anything except celeb fakes.

Maybe. But few civilizations in history have been exposed to the level of trauma Japan experienced with the bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. It affected their psyche so thoroughly that psychologists believe Godzilla spawned from the trauma born of the bombings. Their macho samurai culture is a remnant of the past, replaced instead by a slavish work ethic and what almost resembles a professional and academic caste system. The Japanese warrior is dead, even their gangsters are more businessmen than thugs. And its all because of two bombs.

Maybe they'll revert back to ol' warrior Japan, but I honestly can't see that happening in my lifetime, the trauma just runs too deep

This

The ruble is in outright shambles right now
