Fuck Gravity Falls character designs

Waifu general? Waifu general.

Why?

wendy means /ss/

Cry some more

...

>no cartoon characters on the cartoon board

Okay.

/ss/ is illegal
thread reported for rule breaking content

kys

Mods are apparently okay with that sort of thing despite it being in violation of rule 3. They'll crack down on any loli material and even delete screenshots of anthro characters but /ss/ threads are pretty consistently left alone.

Ironic shitposting is still shitposting. The time you've spent making everyone hate you could have more easily been spent getting people to like you, and yet you still believe that negative attention is better than none at all. What damaged you?

>Wendy thread
What did she do in the show again?

...

The hero's muse.

She was the maguffin that forced the protagonist to make the consistent moral choice between keeping his sister happy or achieving his goal i.e. obtaining her.

what the fuck is up with that hand

Is she a character according to Plinkett?

Early growth spurt + tall genes + tall at 15

Here, have a Jackie

Hey where is my pizza roll user?

She got half of her DNA from Manly Dan, remember.

>Justice t-shirt

>Dipper returns the next summer and has doubled in height.
>He rushes to find Wendy to show her that he has grown.
>Much to dippers surprise, Wendy has also doubled in height.

I'm still pissed they never had a moment where she remembers Dipper traveled back in time and met her younger self.

Rebellious tomboy, kind of lazy but very confident and is prone to jump into the action at the immediate chance.

The Plinkett Test is really bare-bones and only exists to signify whether a character has no characterization and only exists to further a plot or story with little consideration of said charter in the story.

Wendy's problem is the opposite. She has a personality, she just does nothing with it in the context of the plot.

...

We needed more Shortstack Wendy. Much, much more.

Particularly more with Dipper.

...

But the other teens are around her height.

They're also old enough to drive.

i approve of this wendip

...

...

Nah It's hard consider that like a personality, Wendy never did something that wouldn't make any other cliche. She is the teenager girl or the cool girl but that's all and she did nothing except that in all the story so I can't consider that like a personality she is more like two cliches put together (and she plays one at a time).

More that a character Wendy is just the girl that our protagonist is following around, his romantic quest, she is part of his story but she doesn't have nothing to tell us for herself, probably the author never thought a role for her in the central plot.

Well KEK

there was this porn a friend told me about where dipper puts on these glasses that allow him to see and feel what he most desires, he sees and feels himself fucking wendy, but when he takes off the glasses it turns out he was actually fucking mabel, anyone know the name of it?

>tfw no Wendy gf

for u

Wendy is a chill, laidback girl who's gone through various relationships in the past, and has decided that she currently shouldn't be in a relationship. She can't keep a steady job, except one, in the summer time because she's ultimately a thrill junkie that loves getting into trouble.

The main problem with Wendy is the fact that all of those aspects of her character are only shown in the background of an episode centered around another character. In other words, Wendy's biggest problem as a character is that she's never had an episode centered around HER specifically; she's never truly allowed to be fleshed out or go through a character arc, like Soos and Pacifica have.

You ruined it.

>who's gone through various relationships in the past

I don't remember that part, when was it mentioned?

>She can't keep a steady job, except one, in the summer time because she's ultimately a thrill junkie that loves getting into trouble.

That's background, details about her life but it doesn't mean that she has a personality she never show herself affected or influenced by these facts during the show. During the show she is just around being teenager or a cool girl who is in the middle of a romantic triangle being so tipical as "Hahaha Robbie that was so interesting" in front of Dipper.

>Wendy's biggest problem as a character is that she's never had an episode centered around HER specifically; she's never truly allowed to be fleshed out or go through a character arc, like Soos and Pacifica have.

Agreed. But you need to understand that if she didn't show anything about herself to be considered "fleshed" or was used just like a background character... then she didn't show us a real personality, then she is just Dipper's romantic interest.

What kind of mentally ill person finds that attractive

I wouldn't have cared if he wasn't constantly trying to get her attention. Get her away from Robbie? Good. Get her away from Robbie all so you can get a shot at her? Eat shit.

1) A twelve-year-old who finds her more approachable than the average teen because of her height.
2) Robbie because of her inordinate assets.
3) Other guys in her age group who they fetishize her for both.

The material is there to put an interesting twist on her character.

...

How do you think Dipper would react to seeing Wendy as this?
orig00.deviantart.net/feb8/f/2016/053/2/2/dipper_pines_by_thecheeseburger-d9ss2yt.png

>The material is there to put an interesting twist on her character.
This. The personalities remain the same, but the height change puts a new spin on her and Dipper's dynamic. In particular, I see the end of Into the Bunker going differently: rather than being concerned about the age difference, Wendy's more concerned about how it would look later on when Dipper's as tall as Stan and she barely reaches his waist.

>Dipperized Wendy

He'd love it.

How did she fit into his little boy shorts?

Now I'm imagining her getting involved in the size crystal episode.

Honestly, back when Shortstack Wendy was first being tossed around, that was an idea I had. Tambry would get jealous of Wendy for some reason and use a size crystal attached to her phone to shrink her, but a flaw in the crystal causes Wendy's mass to remain the same as her height decreases, resulting in her shortstackified megacurves. Tambry would then attempt to replicate this effect on herself, but the crystal gets flipped around and she becomes a ten-foot-tall beanpole. (This greatly improves her cell reception, so she doesn't mind too much.)

We're over here guys These will always make me happy. The idea of them going off and having adventures with Wendy as the tank and Dipper as support just warms what's left of my heart.

gib sauce

It would make for good personality depth if her laidback and "cool" attitude is a facade to cover how much her appearance really bothers her. At some point, you could work in a frustrated line about how Dipper is the only boy she knows for sure makes eye contact because at their height, he doesn't have a choice.

boybox/sweetscreen/sourscreen back from when we had regular GF threads.
Also, read the filename.

>Also, read the filename.

It's not the height thing that disgusts me. The picture you posted looks like sacks of potatoes in female clothing, not people. either make em' actually hot or keep them on model

This is truth.

And I guess Wendy likes the change enough to stay that way?

...

...

...

The problem with Wendy is that I can't really tell where canon implications end and my headcanon begin.

Like, I can infer underlying structure to her personality, but with GF writing I can't tell whenever it's intentional.

...

Was there any way they could have been written as a couple?

only if it was set in a time other than the current era.

I wish Dipper was the only child, and Wendy was his sidekick on adventures.

Hell quirky male intellectual and his female straight man bodyguard is all the rage right now.

SHAD COMIC

Maybe she bought a pair of shorts similar to Dipper's or used the size crystals to grow the clothes so that it would fit her.

oh man

>ITT we all wonder how wendy broke her wrist

>justice tee
>dat lip bite

I think part of the reason the heights were so exaggerated is that Alex said he was the last to hit his growth spurt in school, so he felt pretty dwarfed by his female peers.

Also cartoon proportions. Too bad there wasn't a time skip so we'd see if Dipper would at least be as tall as Wendy at her age. But Wendy would probably be even taller by then.

I feel like the only person Dipper would "Dipperize" would be Robbie, due to all the jerkish things he's done to him.
