Kingdom Hearts 3 is looking pretty great so far.
WE GOT A MAN MADE ENTIRELY OF MUTANT BEES
You can't lose when you've got a number with a clarinet solo + tapdance routine combo.
Since Rasputin is not in the musical it was scrapped, but you can hear some of the melody for in the song "Stay, I Pray You".
ALL THE WEIRDOS IN THE WORLD
I hate Broadway musicals so fucking much.
They do make for an excellent pleb filter though, as people admitting to enjoying them unironically are basically outing themselves as tasteless faggots.
A fucking dinosaur, Jesus.
Also, why the fuck did they make that ridiculous mask for Kraven?
Isn't he just a human?
>Swiss Miss
What the actual fuck?
No. The musical removes supernatural elements like zombie Rasputin and demon bats. The antagonist is a communist official, who was the son of one of the executioners of the Romanov family. He's tasked with hunting down Anya and finding out if she's Anastasia and killing her if she is, but he's torn because he has met her before and simply believes her to be a lost girl in search of meaning, and he's also unsure that he can even pull the trigger like his father did.
I watched it live. Not fun
>not seguing a Freaks thread into a discussion of Sup Forums theater
It's what we do
It's what we live for
>Derek Klena is a literally perfect Dmitri
What are they going to do when he leaves, by gum
Friendly reminder that this musical is how Imagine Dragons was able to debut.
>"Radioactive" was originally about Spider-Man
didnt people die during this? also wasnt there some sort of controversy involving autism?
Your tsundere love is a better love story than Twilight.
Fun fact: the guy who plays Squidward (Gavil Lee) was also the original Bert in the recent Mary Poppins musical.
>falls to death
No one died, but several people were severely injured.
The guy playing Green Goblin (Patrick Page) was also Frollo in the English premieres of The Hunchback of Notre Dame!
He also originated the Grinch role in "How The Grinch Stole Christmas" and played Scar for a while.
He totally nailed "Hellfire" in THoND, shit gives me chills.
The actor who plays the count who sings the main part of Stay, I Pray You and gets shot in the head shortly after also plays Nicholas II
also this reminds me, I love how the Broadway show took some cues from the animated Once Upon a December sequence. It's a bit hard to tell on the videos they have up, but they use a warm spotlight on Anya, and a slightly warmer spotlight on the Romanov family which then switches to cold blue as the song ends and they begin to leave. Similar to how the animated sequence starts off as grey/dull and gets more colorful as the song goes on, reverting back to the dull colors when it ends.
They missed the opportunity to do Squidward's other dance instead of some tapdance

How's this: even if it's ironically, you're still enjoying it.
I wonder how much, if at all, they have show references in the musical
OC
So how the blowjob subtext would work in this one?
At least the person enjoying it ironically is self aware that they're enjoying literal trash.
Bono
They wanted a girl villain
huh
swiss miss actually looks pretty cool there
I laughed harder at the Lizard than anything else I have ever seen on a Broadway stage.
Followed closely by the "MY BAAAAABY!" scene and Spidey wrestling ablow up doll.
Anyone else notice one of Swarm's bees is just laying on the ground?
